I love dimsums and yes, i eat them. (Keeping a few things in mind obviously !!!! Read to the end to know more)
They are probably my favourite go to food.
. When i usually eat dimsums or momos i remove the wrapper before eating. In most places it's more wrapper than filling. I think this was the first time in a while, that i didn't have to do that. Each one i tried was exceptional.
For me the highlights were the xiao long bao & the kafir sea food dumpling. Unlike other places this xiao long bao or #soupdumpling isn't bite sized. It is an XL version. You need a straw to drink the perfectly flavoured piping hot soup and once you're done, dig into the giant dumpling.
I'm not a seafood fan at all but the kafir sea food dumpling brilliantlydone, it was by far my favourite. Actually hard to pick because the edamame truffle dumpling and the wasabi prawn dumplings were great too. .
They also had a special cocktails menu to supplement it. My husband had one and said it was exceptional. .
As is my case i didn't order the fried, no noodles or rice. Purely a dumpling lunch because that's what i wanted to try. Most of the time we head out to eat something and end up eating a lot of extra stuff we shouldn't have. So stick to what you like. Avoid the fried and everything is good.
I would highly recommend trying this festival. Keep in mind its tell the month end @experienceshiro
