<p>Levoquin 500mg Tablet is an antibiotic, used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is also used in treating infections of the urinary tract, nose, throat, skin and lungs (pneumonia). It cures the infection by stopping the further growth of the causative microorganisms.<br><br>Levoquin 500mg Tablet should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It may be taken with or without food, preferably at a fixed time. Avoid skipping any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose. Simply take the next dose as planned.<br><br>Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. Special care should be taken in people with kidney problems while taking this medicine.</p>

<p>Cipladine Ointment belongs to the class of medications called <i>antiseptic and disinfectant</i> primarily used to treat and prevent skin infections in minor burns, lacerations (deep cut in the skin), cuts, and abrasions (the first layer of skin is scraped off). It also helps to treat infections of the lining of the mouth and throat, such as gingivitis (inflammation of the gums) and mouth ulcers. Cipladine Ointment 10 gm is also used in infection control during insertion and care of urinary catheters, circumcision (removal of the foreskin from the human penis), suture removal and dressing changes. </p><p>Cipladine Ointment works by inhibiting the growth of infection-causing microbes. As a small molecule, iodine in Cipladine Ointment can easily penetrate microorganisms and oxidizes essential proteins, nucleotides, and fatty acids, leading to cell death. Cipladine Ointment is effective against bacteria (Gram-positive and Gram-negative, including antibiotic-resistant and antiseptic-resistant strains), fungi, viruses, and protozoa. Cipladine Ointment is used in degerming (physical removal of microbes) stasis ulcers (wound on the leg or ankle due to damaged veins), decubitus ulcers (bed sores), and the umbilical area. It is also used for degerming the intravenous devices in blood transfusions, hyperalimentation (artificial supply of nutrients), cutdowns, and central venous line.</p><p>Cipladine Ointment is available in the form of a solution, cream, ointment, external pad, swab, spray, surgical scrub, and eye drops.</p>
