I reached out to Sound Monk, Powai while setting up a home studio couple of months ago. The team is very professional and made sure all my requirements were met, even if it required going an extra mile. Karuna has been my key point of contact, followed by Tejas. I needed some equipments urgently on a rainy day, and the godown was closed. Understanding the urgency, Karuna sent over a display piece from the store to ensure my work was not impacted. And had it promptly exchanged once the godown opened. Not only was Karuna communicating with me proactively, she ensured seamless coordination across branches to get me the equipments. Tejas is very knowledgeable and I look up to him for his opinions on technical matters. I never had to visit the store once and everything was brilliantly managed on call. High highly recommended! Kudos, Team Sound Monk.

Really friendly and funny staff, had a great experience in choosing among multiple guitars. Especially Karuna and Akash, made me feel at home. Will come back soon to get more accessories.

From the time I made a call to the shop...shortly thereafter my happy purchase of 2 items & then Karuna (like her name means) showing us senior citizens the way to get down without the steps ! ...was a lovely experience. I was impressed by the well stocked musical instruments of all kinds, shapes, sizes & range ! and the lovely excellent service. I am so glad we have such a good place to buy in Powai itself.
What also impressed me was that different types of flutes & mouth organs/harmonicas are also stocked. Many shops that I had tried earlier, kept only a few instruments. So it was a big relief to find varied musical instruments under one roof. I bought a harmonica & a flute, that met my requirements. If I can give more than 5 stars, I would give the max possible gladly, as you deserve it. Keep up your good work.

Sound monk is a very unprofessional music instruments store. First their staff do not know how to deal with customers. They do not have enough product knowledge, pricing, after sales services etc. I bought a guitar from them and their sales staff told me that product comes with one year warranty and one year free service which will be done quarterly. After buying the product when I asked about invoice they told me their printer is not working and it will be send on watsapp. Believe me I did not receive the invoice for next days. Then I rushed to store and took printed invoice. On invoice they mentioned only about product warranty and not about free service. When I asked about service which was not mentioned on the invoice they told me that service is from their side and no need to mention on the invoice, you just show invoice at the time of service will we do free of cost one year from the date of invoice. I trusted on the words of their sales person. When I went for service they denied the free service and told they didn't committ this at the time of sale. They became very rude to me and even not ready to listen anything. I also contacted their owner Viransh who is a super irresponsible guy. He has no bother about his customers and treat customers like nothing. My humble request to all the buyers never go to this store otherwise you will be cheated by their staff as well as owner. I am seeking legal action against the store and owner. Meanwhile request all the buyers do not waste your hard earned money on this cheater store..
Further my guitar comes with some accessories which they also not provided. I came to know this when I checked with other good stores. Even the store does not have pencil battery to check the instrument. They asked me do you have battery.

That time I took all this on a lighter mode think it happens but now understood they are professional cheater even does not provide your accessories that comes free with the product.

So think 100 times before buying anything from this store.

I have found the service from SoundMonk to be professional and quite satisfactory.  The team has a great attitude and provides sound advice regarding repairs.

I am very disappointed with the service at this guitar servicing center. After the servicing, my guitar had noticeable scratches that were not there before. On top of that, the charges were extremely high and not at all worth the quality of work provided. Paying such a hefty amount and still ending up with a damaged instrument was very frustrating. I would not recommend this place for guitar servicing.

Got myself a cort acoustic, amazing service and nice collection of guitars. Reasonable pricing too.

It’s a good place and people have knowledge about the instrument. Good price and offer servicing of the instrument as well
