Recipe for Teekha Chaska Chicken Bao
This was easily one of the tastiest things I've made. @faasos Teekha Chaska is insanely addictive. So proceed with caution. It's available to buy online on any platforms where @faasos is available
Ingredients:
Chicken thighs - 500g
Onions - 2 small onions thinly sliced
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Teekha Chaska spice mix - 15g (1.5tbsp)
Lemon juice - half a lemon (or as much as you'd like honestly)
Oil - 1 tbsp
Salt - As needed (the spice mix also has some salt in it)
Bao buns - 6
Fresh coriander
Crushed peanuts mixed with a packet of Teekha Chaska
Instructions
- Marinate chicken using all ingredients listed for half an hour.
- Cook in a non stick pan with no additional oil, for 2 minutes on high heat.
- Then cover the pan and cook on medium low for 8 minutes.
- Uncover and add 1 tbsp cornflour slurry (cornflour and water mixed in a 1:1 ratio) to the pan and cook on high heat for another 2 minutes
- And that's it.
- Assemble it in a Bao bun and your dish is ready.
