But the heap of promising releases keeps getting bigger routinely, and while 2020 might have been an unusual year otherwise, the surge of new exciting reads has been just as anticipated. With a myriad of new novels propping up regularly, picking from the pile this year has been challenging, and that's putting it mildly.
