Cafes in Bangalore You’ll Surely Visit More Than Once

Sometimes, all we need is a break. A sweet escape from the hustle-bustle of the city. Here are some of the best cafes in bangalore which guarantee a good time and also serve delightful food.

This place is a much needed respite from the concrete jungle we live in, something which you and I are always looking for. Located right on the main road of Shanti Nagar, Courtyard is an unexpected oasis bound to make your afternoon interesting. With lush green climbers hugging the white walls and a few tables strewn across the garden, the place is perfect for someone looking to chill with their friends while enjoying coffee.  The rustic look of the place will soothe your nerves and make you forget all your problems (hopefully).

Turning our focus to the food, the place does not boast an extensive menu. However, they don’t compromise on the quality of what is served. Their menu includes Continental and French dishes with a variety of perfectly blended Mojitos. The Chicken Salami and Mushroom Pizza is a treat for the palate. Those visiting by themselves can carry a book for some peaceful reading. For the tea lovers, they have a special edition of ginger mint chai with an exotic touch.

The Hole in the wall

This is THE place for the best brunches in town. Securing a table here could take a while, but you’ll certainly be leaving the place with a full tummy and a smile on your face.

Like the name, Hole in the wall is a beautiful, cozy space with a very interesting ambience. The restaurant has a diverse menu with loads of savoury options that could give food sticklers a hard time deciding what to order. To point you in the safe direction, I would recommend starting with the All American Breakfast, waffles or any of their burgers. Do not miss the Chicken 9 Yard Dash for a roller coaster of flavours and the Banofee for an exquisite treat of whipped cream and bananas. Your wait for food ends once you’re at the table because they whip up your order surprisingly fast despite the insane crowd.

Coffee on Canvas

A small space tucked away in a corner, Coffee on Canvas has a unique homely feel. Simple, warm and green, this roof top café is ideal for socializing with friends or for brainstorming your next sales pitch. With books on shelf and mild melodious music in the background, this place is perfect for spending a lazy day with some extra strong cappuccino or a glass of Sulaimani. The staff is friendly and ready to entertain any special requests that you have.

The menu is not extraordinarily exquisite but their classic options will not disappoint you. You could remind yourself of life’s simple pleasures by feasting on their delicious English breakfast with some coffee on the side. Or you could treat yourself to some delicious Lasagne. Going full desi is also a worthwhile option, with delicacies like masala omelette, onion pakoda, chuski kullad and masala tea at your disposal.
