A Fashion And Beauty Guide For The Upcoming Colder Months

By admin

Updated - Oct. 25, 2019 4 min read

Fashion for me is all about retaining the sense of fun, adding your personal style and yet feeling glamorous and self confident in your skin. However, when the cold strikes it can be a little daunting for anyone to be able to dress cute and also be warm. Here are some latest women fashion tips for you to take on the fashion world like a pro –

1. Layer, Layer, LAYER!

I can’t begin to emphasize on the need to start learning how to layer your clothes
perfectly, so that once it gets a little warmer you can easily begin to peel them off. It’s an
extremely practical yet chic way of dressing up for the colder months. Throw on a
collared shirt, a v-neck sweater, an infinity scarf and even a long over coat if needed.

2. Happy feet in the winter = BOOTS

Winter is a great time for you to stock up on a variety of boots – whether they’re ankle
length, mid calf or even thigh high boots. The latter has surely become a huge trend and
look exceptionally stylish, and the biggest plus point here is that they keep you warmer!

3. “Dress” It Up!

Just because it can get freezing cold, doesn’t necessarily mean you’ve to bid adieu to
your favorite dresses. Wear a pair of leggings under them, add in a woolen scarf, a long
coat or even a leather jacket if you’re out at night, and a pair of boots and you’re good to
go.

4. Think beyond jeans

Wearing jeans in the winter is definitely not the warmest piece of clothing and can get a
little monotonous to wear the same thing everyday. Switch it up by wearing leggings,
joggers, or even a pair of comfortable yet stylish track pants. Jeans remind me of how skinny
jeans are now dead and we have for you 10 uber cool alternatives to it in this blog post.

5. White Walkers

Go white this season. You can never go wrong when you suit up in
an all white outfit. Or go for a white fur coat with a pop of colour.
White turtle necks really go well with blue or black jeans as well.

6. Waist Belts

Belts are back – they are used to cinch coats, shirts and knitwear. By the
middle of winter it’s pretty inevitable that you’re going to start to feel some
fatigue when it comes to putting on your boring old winter coat day after day.
Add new life to your coat simply by belting it.

7. Scarf Experimentation

Scarf is the most versatile item in your closet. It’s able to do more than perhaps anything in your wardrobe right now, and we bet you’re not taking full advantage of it. Yes, there are many, many ways to tie a scarf. The humble item can switch between a neck warmer, beanie, cape. So take full advantage of it and make your winters sassy and stylish. 8. Redefine your style with fur coats

Fur coats are a piece of item that adds nothing but class to your style of dressing. Whether its faux fur or real ( depending upon your morality choices), fur coats can take your winter ideal outfit a notch higher. Experiment with colours and ways of styling it but make sure you own one for sure this season.

9. Say NO to a full face of make up
During the winters, it is imperative to hydrate the skin and moisturize during the day.
Keep a tiny bottle of lotion for your hands and face. DO NOT forget sunscreen, the sun
in the colder months is as strong as was before. Rather than going all out for make up,
keep it simple – BB cream, mascara, eye liner and a lipstick is all you need. Try darker
colors for the fall the time – dark browns or even a wine color looks great. During the day
time you can opt for a muter shade of peach & pink or even a nude brown. For getting
glowing and healthy skin in no time – Follow these trips and tricks.

10. Get rid of Frizz in your hair

One of the most annoying things about winter is all of the static.
The hoodies, sweater, scarves, gloves, and beanies all seem to gang up
on your hair, making it a static, frizzy mess. To tackle this, use a vented
hair brush that has a combination of plastic and boar bristles while combing your hair.
Wash your hair only with lukewarm water, not hot water, as the latter will strip away
the natural oils that protect and nourish your hair. Apply a leave-in conditioner to keep
your hair smooth. A regular hair spa at home becomes important especially because of how
the weather makes your hair so dry. We have techniques you could easily follow at home to
make your hair nourished here – Hair spa at home.
