After what seems like a century of being holed up in my house, I can't help but feel jaded by the routine activities of life. The usual work and wind-down ritual, days on the desk followed by mindless entertainment in bed. These days I often catch myself rummaging around the world wide web for more things to do. Yes, I scour through all the beloved streaming platforms on the regular, but I always walk away feeling a nagging need for more options!

So, imagine my surprise, when I get a text from a friend asking me to choose a movie on the BookMyShow app. Naively enough, I can't help the sudden jolt of excitement at the thought of heading to an old-normal movie theatre, clutching on to a tub of popcorn.
