Chai Break in Alipore is the perfect spot for a family meal. The restaurant offers fantastic family meal deals, making it a go-to for weekend dinners. I was impressed by their Dal Makhani - it was rich, creamy and delicious. The portion size was generous and the prices were reasonable, providing great value for money. Desi Lane is a great place to grab some quick Indian food. I have been here for lunch and dinner and both times my experience was good. They do not take reservations so be prepared to wait in line if you go at peak hours like during the weekends. The people working there are very friendly, though, and they provide an excellent service with fast-paced but efficient staffs! They also serve their delicious Butter Chicken Masala which is just too good that it's hard to resist ordering another plate or two after eating one itself!
