Our all-new East India collection is vegetable tanned, based on the seeds and barks that the forest gives us. The roots of our East India collection go back to when the greatest vegetable tanned leather was created in South India.

Perhaps the secret behind our success is not just skilled craftsmanship, but also the camaraderie between our people in the atelier - a home that fosters love, friendship and heartwarming stories.

Another year is coming to an end, but the legacy of our brass hardware lives on.

From melting and molding the brass in sand moulds to hand polishing our buckles, our fittings are painstakingly difficult to make. But our craftspeople make it seem effortless. When we moved to brass buckles from mass-produced zinc buckles, we went from 4 "workers" to 40 skilled craftsmen. Our brass buckles last forever, glowing as beautifully in our museum pieces as in the new bags.
