Ever tried Chana Dal Chaat? 🌸
The only place I could find it was in the local train when I went from Delhi to Karnal to meet my massi in childhood. This was the only thing that made train journey fun for me! Now that my massi shifted here in Delhi, I miss those train rides badly. 🌸

Anyways, I found out a way to make it at home in a jiffy! All you need is Haldiram’s Chatpata Chana Dal pack, some chopped tomatoes, onions, green chillies and lemon juice. Mix it all with a little bit salt and red chilli for an extra spicy taste. The taste is not exactly like the one I used to have in childhood, but it’s quite similar. Their daal had a softness to this crunch.
