Taneira's master weavers guard the legacy of the illustrious Kanjeevarams, ensuring that each saree is not just a masterpiece but a heartfelt tribute to its rich heritage. Among these artisans is Keertana, an integral part of Taneira's skilled ecosystem.
In her role overseeing a dedicated team of over 100 weavers, Keertana orchestrates the weaving process with a keen eye for detail. With a family lineage deeply rooted in the art of weaving spanning four generations, she brings a profound understanding of the craft.
Keertana's expertise shines in specialties like Korvai, Vaira Oosi, and Silk Brocade, where a single saree requires the collaborative effort of 60 skilled hands over a fortnight.
Taneira's design team provides them with sketches, each saree carrying a unique narrative. While traditionally limited to a palette of 12 colours, Taneira encourages experimentation, introducing a vibrant spectrum. This, for Keertana and her weavers, is a groundbreaking practice. Every Kanjeevaram saree from Taneira is a celebration—an embodiment of authenticity, purity, and the timeless weaving tradition.
We take immense pride in unveiling Kanchi Thantha Varam, the exquisite boon from Kanchipuram, drapes crafted with certified pure zari and timeless artistry, inviting a new generation to revel in its unparalleled craftsmanship and heritage.
