If crying over spilt milk could reverse the spilling, I might have put my tears to better use and cried over this unwretched situation to make it all go away. Unfortunately, I can't and neither can you. So let's collect those broken pieces of our shattered dreams for a summer vacation and put our heart in the pursuit of travelling whilst sitting on the couch because you know this is the right thing to do...

Allow me to chaperone you through this voyage of discovering Indian web series that will be almost as good as travelling by yourself!

1. TVF Tripling

Chandan, Chanchal & Chitvan, three siblings set out on an unplanned road trip are emotionally reconnected to when they learn about each other's overwhelming fiascos. Created by The Viral Fever, Tripling is a light-hearted, safe for family series stacked neatly with super-funny punchlines, unexpected but humorous turn of events and an awesome trio of co-actors. The story is a bag full of life lessons disguising as funny travel-driven plotline that you will definitely enjoy. There's more... More than one season that you can binge-watch. Happy travelling!

2. Take Me To Nagaland

Tanya Khanijow, a travel blogger backpacks through beautiful landscapes of Nagaland unfurling their modern lifestyle, heavenly cuisine and fashion revolutions that took place over the years. The best part of this travel web series is the rawness of production which actually keep it real for the viewers. Watching Take Me To Nagaland curled up in your bed is not only a mind therapy but also a sustainable guide to an affordable trip. Enjoy and take notes!

3. Backpackers

This Indian mini-web series by Alright! is a hearty journey of a banker trying to go solo in Himachal kinda trip but ends up falling in love with a girl who is a complete opposite and befriending two more awesome travellers. Despite a predictable plot, a love story set in Himachal Ki Vadiya can never be a disappointing watch. Since Backpackers is only 3 episodes long, you might be able to finish it off in one sitting and maybe jump on to next one real quick.

4. Caravan Chronicles

Two beautiful ladies, one caravan, half troubles and zero miles to Sikkim, Caravan Chronicles is a dream come true sort of road trip. Sharanya Iyer and Ankita Kumar are the bright faces of the series who cover 30-day off-roading, on-roading through some unheard villages and towns of Sikkim. This travel series isn't just about discovering nooks and corners of the beautiful unknowns but also the challenges, friendship and Luna, the caravan that comes along. Hold tight, it's gonna be a bumpy ride.

5. Soulmates

Priyanshu and Anshul, our protagonists run into each other in ever so marvellous Shillong while looking for two completely different things. This Zoom Studios production is a feel-good web series for the people who are in love with the idea of bumping into their soulmates in a romantic setting. Other than a heartfelt story set in a picturesque corner of East India I love the fact that Anshul is a biker and Priyanshu is on the backseat. Travel love story goals indeed!
