The India Art Fair is South Asia's leading platform for all things art, culture and heritage. The fair is orchestrated on an annual basis to showcase developments in India's art scene and bring into focus, the cultural landscapes in the surrounding states. The 12th edition of the India Art Fair is all set to unfold right here in our beloved capital city at the end of January 2020! India Art Fair 2020 will witness artwork and craftsmanship by some of the most iconic artists in the territory, coupled with collectives by private foundations, charities and institutions.

Some Noteworthy Points

  • The special preview is scheduled to take place from 3 PM to 7 PM on 30th January 2020. This will be held with the objective of furnishing keen collectors and visitors with the opportunity to experience and get their hands on the finest works available in the catalogue. Public entry on the 31st of January and 1st of  February is from 2 PM to 7 PM, while on the 2nd of February it is from 10 AM to 6 PM.
  • The event is open to visitors of all age groups.
  • The tickets to the event cannot be exchanged, refunded or cancelled once booked. 
  • Entry for children below the age of 7 years is free of cost, and they need to be accompanied by an adult at all times. 
  • You will be thoroughly frisked at the time of entry and would be mandatorily required to furnish a government authorised ID proof, without which you may be denied entry. 
  • If you are availing a student ticket, it is a mandate for you to furnish your Student ID along with a government authorised ID proof.
  • Due to the strict security measures undertaken by the organisers, it is advisable for you to avoid carrying anything inappropriate, illicit or illegal. Heavy bags, knapsacks, cigarettes, lighter, firearms and explosives are not permitted. If you are found carrying any of these, you will be reported to security and denied entry.

A. If you are in Delhi NCR, the easiest way to commute to the venue is via the Delhi Metro. Govindpuri Metro Station on the Violet Line and NSIC Okhla Metro Station on the Magenta Line are located right next to the entrance of the venue. The venue is also easily accessible by autos, cabs and taxis with parking spaces available at Gate 3 and 4 on a first-come-first-serve basis.
