Mumbai Run for Independence Day gives you the unique opportunity to get in shape, as well as get in the true spirit of Independence. On 15th August 2019, Mumbai is celebrating India's freedom by giving you a chance to run and truly taste that freedom and also to celebrate the successful launch of the historic ISRO’s Chandrayaan-2. This is your way of showing how proud you are as a nation of the achievements of our scientists and the Team ISRO. This 10km run/walk/jog challenge of 10 days i.e. from 15th to 25th August will be tracked via tracking apps whose screenshots you'll have to submit after completion to the given number. Prizes include a unique Chandrayaan-2 medal and an e-certificate.

2. One Run 2019 Independence Day Run
Run for our people, our soldiers and most importantly, for the nation and unite as Indians to celebrate this 73rd Independence Day. Anyone can run from anywhere in Mumbai to accomplish the task of completing 5 Kms / 10 Kms / 15 Kms / 21 Kms or 42 Kms as per their stamina and convenience. All you have to do is register your email id and number on the leaderboard of the respective challenge by paying a registration fee of Rs. 522 and add the Indian Marathon app on your phone or via STRAVA or www.indianrunners.in. Winners will be awarded designer medals and a personalized certificate of performance. Winners in the Individual category will also receive a Drifit Indian Marathon T-shirt.

3. 5th Independence Day Daawat
The Bombay Canteen in Mumbai is back with it's 5th Independence Day Daawat and yes it's as delicious and magnificent as it sounds! Every Independence Day since the past 4 years, the Bombay Canteen decided to hold a charity event where the guests can eat as much they want & pay whatever they like. In this community meal where you sit across other guests of the canteen and share the same table, an energized sense of freedom and positivity is woken in you. RSVP to the event to book your presence but an RSVP does not assure you a table. Guests will be seated on a first come first serve basis. Last year's Daawat raised 20.1 lakhs and fed over 773 of old and new guests of the Canteen and went on to help many children across the country with this generous revenue raised!
