The name "arabiata" comes from the Arabic word for “spiced”, and this dish is often spicy thanks to its blend of herbs and spices. Some common ingredients are oregano, garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, black pepper, and parsley and offcourse tomatoes which are used as the base for the pasta sauce.
