The chicken was not soft. And it wasn't chicken kadhai at all. It was something else, something like chicken curry.

The chicken pieces were not cleaned properly before cooking, and the pieces were of ribs, just whole bones . The gravy wasn't even from kadhai chicken; either they don't know the recipe for kadai chicken, or they sent whatever was available. Even the gravy was undercooked and sweeter due to the excessive use of onions. It was one of the worst chicken dishes I have had. Even roadside chicken curry tastes better.
