After 30 mins and lots of fun at the Crocs kiosk, I walked out with my own customised Crocs. Not complaining at all !! ?

Winter cravings for hot chocolate/coffee ☕️ , now has a new place in the studio and I LOVE ITTT ! This was such a cool project and my @crocsindia definitely added more fun to it ! And now no more looking for my jibbitz here & there coz it’s a Table with Storage ?

So, here’s all what I did -

✨ Got 2 similar sized trunks from a scrap station and cleaned them. If there’s a difference in height, add a piece of plywood to match their levels.

✨ Jitne bhi gaps the unko wood filler se bhara, then added 2 layers of white metal primer on the trunks. Once it dried, next day base coat kiya with a green shade (chalk paint)

✨ I’ve tried various art forms before but never GOND ART ? so I drew the signature birds and deer herd on opposite sites and started painting them. For ease, you fill solid colours and then go for the Gond Art detailings with dots and dashes. Thoda patience chahiye at this stage ?

✨ Now for the trunks to open on both sides, you need lil space in btw. So maintaining a 6 cm gap I fixed them using nut and bolts. Fir wooden base laya,
stained it with teak and walnut along with leftover car upholstery fabric for top.

✨ Table ki layering hui - Pehle Base, then you fix trunks on it using screws. Next cut out 2 ply boards to attach on each trunk followed by 3 inch single foam sheet on top (use adhesive spray). Lastly put the fabric and seal with staple gun on all sides.

✨End me jibitz se decorate kiya, varnish ki layer lagayi, did gold leafing on latches, and jo opening dikh rahi thi usko cover kiya with leather detailing using Velcro tape.

That’s it our DIYed Coffee Table was readyyy ??
