Qissa

Qissa was truly a pleasure and a fantastic experience. The ambience and decor is reminiscent of the middle eastern influence and Arabic style iconography. I must admit though that although I was hugely impressed with the eclectic and varied menu, my expectations were dashed when told that the Egyptian Koshari dish was not going to be available that evening. However, we were delighted with the mixed grill platter, the Qissa Signature Shawarma, the Hassan Mathar Shawarma, the Chicken Mandi, the garlic dips are simply divine as also the side accompaniments, and French Fries. The staff were very helpful and friendly, hospitable and responsive. The food was finger licking and simply delightful and super tasty and delicious. The meat was tender and juicy. The Oumm Ali, the traditional sweet dish was terrific. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable and wonderful and memorable evening with the family.
