Excellent place to grab some really nice home made condiments. Must try colbale, chutney pudi, congress peanuts, rasam and sambar powder. It’s a heritage store running since atleast last 50 years. Consistency and quality has remained same.

A small, "hole in the wall" kind of a shop in a byelane of Hanumantha nagar, just adjacent to Sri Ramanjaneya Gudda.

The locality and the shop are quite old and they serve some really authentic stuff.

Visit the shop at leisure and have a hearty chat with the owner Sri Shankara Narayan .....an Octogenarian.
A man with such an energy and passion .... Awesome.

Do not expect any fancy stuff .... Items available are simple and perfectly home made style. Very authentic... You get to taste some sample before buying and that's the beauty ...... They are really keen to have you as their long term customer and customer satisfaction is their USP.

By the way, their shop name Simha ....
stands for SIMple Home Amenities ...!!!!

Aah.. nostalgic feeling! We've been his customer since late 80s..
I still get same vibes like those back in the 90s! He still has the same energy. Tamarind thokku is a must try!

Plenty of options available for home made foods. We have been buying a lot of products from here when we moved to Bangalore like rasam powder, sambar powder, pickles, vermicelli, other snacks etc.

I would suggest people to try it from here. Much much tastier than the so called leading brands.

Bought a ready to eat rava idli mix for my tour. The taste has been just amazing, quality par excellence and easy to use particularly when you are travelling.

Another usp of this product is that it can be used for preparation of upma as well.I just tried doing and thankfully it worked.

Have already tried kodubale, mixture and amla pickle.

Would love to try more products.

Yesterday had been to this shop. A gentleman helped me in giving the required items, snacks and powders I wanted. Puliyogare gojju was awesome.  Superb taste. Even the snacks
