Description : MICRO with the advantage of more than 3 decades experience in the manufacturing of High Precision Drilling Machines. MICRO have created a wide range of machines, of which Type 6 is next to the smallest & Type 10 is next to Type 6. With simple but modern lines, the machine has a drilling capacity of 10 mm in 60 Kg/mm2 (40 ton) steel. The main spindle which is automatically pre-loaded (STATE OF THE ART TECHNOLOGY) is driven by a flat endless belt over stepped pulleys. The upper portion of the cover can be raised to facilitate changing over the belt, whilst the lower portion, locked by a cross nut, slides to take up the belt tension, The spindle, rotating in adjustable ball bearings, is mounted in a hardened and ground quill carefully lapped into the drilling head. The drilling lever, adjustable for length & Position, actuates the movement of the quill. The head is raised or lowered on a cylinderical column equipped with rack, the total travel of 280mm being effected by a cranked handle inserted in the face of the machine. The method of displacement employed prevents the head from descending under its own weight and a clamping system locks it to the column. Adjustment of the drilling depth is affected by means of a scale and graduated drum. THE ABOVE MACHINES are much appreciated in the field of Precision Production Work, Tool Rooms and other mechanical and electrical related industries. Technical Specifications Drilling Cap. 10 mm Drill Chuck Capacity 0-10mm Drilling Depth 70 mm Vertical travel of Head 280 mm Distance between Column & Spindle Axis 155 mm Centre distance between column & Spindle 190 mm Min/Max distance between table & chuck 50/325 mm Length of the table 395 mm Width of the table with T-slot 300 mm Height of the machine 810 mm Run out of spindle 0.005 mm Perpendicularity of the base 0.05 mm
