I recently shopped at the Max showroom in Velachery for Pongal 2025 and spent ₹2,500. This is one of my favorite places to shop! I bought clothes for my twin kids and myself, and I must say, the quality of the dresses is excellent. The cost is reasonable and truly worth it, which made me very happy with my purchase.

However, I felt the service could be improved. There is no proper seating area for senior citizens, which can be inconvenient for families shopping together. It would be great if this is addressed in the future.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with the clothing quality and pricing and look forward to shopping here again! 😊

Went for buying shorts and T shirts for my son.   Got 2 pairs.  Prices reasonable. RS.900 per pair.  Show room is there in Grand mall.  Visited only gents portion.  Reasonably big showroom in 2 ND floor.  Escalator available.

Went again in April 2019.  Bought tops and bottoms 2 pairs.  Bought shirt, t shirts.  Quality and price matching.

Max at Grand Mall is quite underwhelming. The collection is very average, and there’s nothing exciting or trendy to look forward to. Their kurtis and western wear are not up to the mark, with most designs looking repetitive and basic. The fabric quality isn’t great either—many clothes don’t hold up well after a few washes.

Footwear, handbags, and purses are available, but the variety is limited. They could definitely improve their heels collection, especially with more budget-friendly options. The store layout also doesn’t feel very organized, making it difficult to browse through properly.

Overall, it’s fine for basic shopping if you don’t have high expectations, but it’s not a place to find stylish or unique pieces. There are better stores with more trendy and affordable options.

Very bad in billing . I went yesterday they are not giving the balance properly. This is second time happing for me.very bad

VERY DISAPPOINTED due to MISLEADING Offer Boards!!! I wanted to buy 2 pieces under Buy 1 Get 1 offer or 25% off for one piece in Kappa brand. Apparently that offer is only valid for 1 column or 1 section above which the offer board has been kept. However, nowhere in the store says that this BOGO offer is valid or that particular section and instead gave just 25% off for both the pieces. Please address this issue as soon as possible. Or atleast place a placard that mentions the rack the offer is valid for.

Worst shopping experience in Max. The billing woman (Lavanya) pushed us to download some shady app to pay the bill. When refused she made us pay via gpay to her personal bank account and then transfered it to the store. Very shady and unethical! Wouldn't visit this max again. After checking the bill came to know she has tricked us into buying the membership.

Recently did shopping at Max in grand mall. Service was good. Sales person Gayathri was good polite and assisted well. Her customer service skill was good.
Cons: Many are very much concentrated to sell the elite option. I have to pay extra to get a 750 voucher. Follow some discount options how its followed in other show rooms you will get repeated customers. Rather than customers paying to get offers.

Max , the clothing store in Grand Mall has 2 divisions, One for Men at First floor and one at Ground floor for women.

The collections are good. But the rates are a little bit high.

After purchase the Payment has to be made at First floor making people to strain to goto First floor after purchase at Ground floor . Either they have to shift the billing counter to Ground floor or open 2 counters at both places. Alternatively they can shift Men's sy Ground floor and Women's at First floor, if they want to keep their Billing counter unchanged.

The employees are so kind,but feel less collection compared to other branches

Very very very poor billing counters. Only single counter even if 100 customers comes. No one to attend other billing counters. How long Customers can wait. Customers are treated like beggars. They have 3 to 4 systems but only one person for billing. All customers have to stand in que for hours together. Horrible customer management by max. Never ever visit this outlet. No manager to address customers problems. An outlet run without proper managers

The shop has some items at reasonable prices. It has plenty of collections for kids and guys.

Pro :
There are offers available in kind of dresses and it's applicable for the some products when we purchase two items.

Con :
It's paid parking due to it's inside the mall.

Billing section employee's attitude towards the customer is worst.. Billing counter executive replied rudely, when expressed about our concern in taking time for their explanation of membership details.

To our Surprise the Billing executive (Ms Anshika) informed that there is no Manager present at this store to address Customers concerns.

NEED Management's Attention towards this behaviour in losing Customer's Trust and Loyalty.

Totally disappointed

Pathetic billing Service. Only 2 counters were operating on a Sunday evening where 20 people were waiting for billing. I bought a pair of sandals for which I had to wait in the queue for 20 mins for billing. The store is so dirty and not well maintained.

Visited this outlet for the first time, however visited other outlets multiple time and we love going to max. This shop is spread across three floors. Even though there were segregation, we feel each floor is more congested, however collections were good and they were providing offers.

Good addition to grand square Mall. Has very good collection for ladies and kids. Has 2 floors and ample space to move around. Not much discounts when I shopped but it's a welcome addition to a bare grand square Mall. Will give good competiton to Shoppers stop.

Their sales person insisted to buy on online & they told it will delivery in 2days,so placed the order, now it’s been 10days since I placed the order still they didn’t delivered & when I contacted their customer service they simply told it will take another 5-6 days, since the order was out for delivery (in app last 6 days showing like this) so I can’t even cancel it, it’s so frustrating ( I feel like they cheated me 😴)

The store is made awesome but the personnel’s who work there need more training to keep the store neat and presentable, in ladies section you can’t find any lady saleswomen for help only make salespersons are there and they enter womens trail room directly inside for flicking the cloths in the trial room, pls kindly keep the womens worker’s in womens section and keep the store representable and they are very rude with the some coustomers and they don’t help in getting the required size. All these were my personal experience yesterday Aug 14 2022. If required I will show the photos

price seems to be okay but once we hit in season time will get more offer or the is high in off season not sure worth for the quality. max to have their own product but again price similar to other brand the outlet have less collections compared with other outlets

Mr. Vinothkumar (store manager ) and Ramyaperumal and Abinaya they did very excellent service with Polite, Patience and Kindness👍

Good number of collections of gents and children cloths for Grand mall.
Need more collection to attract more people.
Staffs here doesn't seem interested in selling.
Neat. Clean. Well maintained.
