This is more like an Air B&B than a hotel. It's a home on a side street with various broken up rooms with bathrooms and central kitchens. It's extremely cheap, safe, and clean. However, if you've never been to the area or do not speak any of the local languages, it's better to stay at a hotel. I stayed here with my husband for a family wedding because we had family in the neighborhood and they came to pick us up. It's on a side street with very little street lights, not handicapped accessible, and the owners don't have English as their first language. I'd recommend this place to people from India, local to Coimbatore, or are used to staying in homestays. I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone with small children, babies, or those with elderly relatives or in wheelchairs due to steep stairs and lack of sidewalks.

My husband and I stayed for a week at this location with relatives to attend a wedding in Coimbatore. My husband and in-laws are Indian and from Coimbatore, so they knew the area and had booked the location. I would highly recommend this place to 1. Locals who know the area and are used to getting around the neighborhood on foot, 2. Indians who have experience with neighborhood style homestays, 3. Backpackers/people who frequently use no-frills hostels. ||||While the apartment was safe (multiple locks and deadbolts), clean, great AC and fans, and our room came with a full size fridge, table and chairs, and kitchenette with cutlery, it's down a residential street that's hard to find, is not marked, the road is off a main thoroughfare with no sidewalks, and the area gets incredibly dark at night. This isn't suitable if you don't know the area, know the language, need a luxury-level space to stay, or you have someone in your party that is disabled or elderly, as there are multiple stairs and no wheelchair access. ||||This is a budget hotel, but there's nothing wrong with that. The owner is very nice, the neighborhood during the day has a lot of birds and greenery, and the house itself is behind high walls and a locked gate, so there is definite safety. They will also do your laundry for a cheap price. Use this for a long-term stay, or if you have guests coming for an event that need rooms to sleep, change, or de-stress.

Corner Stay (Race Course road) is excellent for personal or business trips. It's not a hotel but like a service apartment. Quiet neighborhood, good rooms and bathrooms. Additional common area (living room, dining room, balcony) to sit and relax. Ironing table also provided. I think the owner may be allowing car parking as well. The owner is courteous and helpful, but don't expect a hotel-like experience. You can get food delivered, they have kept order menus or food apps will do as well. ||||Location is excellent for morning walks and decent restaurant nearby as well. ||||I would recommend this place for everyone.
