Harmonic filtering for capacitor protection and preventing harmonic resonance and amplification can be achieved through the detuned filter reactors. In order to limit huge peak inrush current during switching of capacitors, L&T offers capacitor-duty contactor and thyristor switching modules for capacitor switching. A range of APFC controllers for use in APFC panels is also available. Additionally, L&T also offers standardised panels for automatic power factor correction.
