My father was diagnosed with prostate cancer, and Dr. Rajiv was truly our biggest support through this difficult time. He didn’t scare us and was very factual, no unnecessary pressure or fancy talks. His calm guidance and honest advice, made a lot of difference.

Even after surgery, he was always responsive and considerate. During his rounds he would give ample time and attention and he was never in a rush, which gave my father a lot of comfort.

His team, too, was kind, professional, and caring throughout - especially Dr. Nikhil. Truly grateful to Dr. Rajiv and his team for helping us through this journey.

First my thanks is to God who made everything possible. I came on a routine medical checkup to the hospital. I was here last in February 2016 and came back January 2026.  Having completed the platinum package the consultant physician sounded the alarm that I have a tumour on my right kidney and needed to see a urologist.
I was scared and disturbed because to me, anything affecting the kidney, heart, liver and brain get me unbalanced. But I braist up and met the consultant urologist Dr Rajiv. He confirmed the ultrasound report, but calmly explained to me that, it is an operation that can be done with great margin of safety. He called it partial nephrectomy. Dr Rajiv's calmness, confidence and demeanor relaxed my agitated mind. He explained the procedure to me, the implications and the opportunity to remove the tumour early, especially when it appeared not to have spread to the affected kidney.
As I am writing this review, I have been discharged after a successful operation that took place on Monday 2/2/2026.
After my post operation recovery in the ICU I had the opportunity to to begin a pyscho-social evaluation of the team under the leadership of Dr. Rajiv. One after the other I begin to associate persons with their interest in my condition. There is one young man who exude confidence going around his bag on the back smiling and cheering the patients - me in particular. He gives me 👍 whenever he comes round creating hope and  confidence in me ( I don't know why). There are other two other young men who were almost always doing the rounds together- working hard. But there is this lady that creates bond and relaxed atmosphere whenever she visited me in the ward.  Apart from the lead consultant, she was the only one that I knew by name. When I was moved to the ward from the ICU, she came in one morning  and said, my name is Alice, I am a member of the team, I am going to assist you to walk to the corridors and exercise. I will hold one of the bags for you. If Alice is a counselor she is good at what she is doing and If she is a medical psychologist or trauma therapist she is worth her onions. I liked the team but I bonded with her the most. But in the team, there is one who scared me the most, he said "if you didn't do this lungs exercise you will get lungs infection" I didn't like that, it sounded threatening and not persuasive. I felt there are better ways to advise a patient under pain. Why not say; 'hallo you are doing well the operation is a success but just try a bit more harder for this exercise it will speed up your recovery' . This may sound more professional and comforting.

Overall I am grateful to the team members for they are really a hard working set. All of them are committed to achieving a common results - patients well-being and quick recovery. But the emphasy on Dr Rajiv's face when he looked at you as a  patient is none rivalled. Dr Rajiv is nurturing a team of professionals with differing personalities.

I had a robotic assisted surgery on 2 nd Jan 2025 last year it's been one year with no problems ! My heartfelt thankyou to Dr Rajiv Yadav and his team at Artemis hospital Gurugram . He is a humble person who listens to you and explains all youask him . Thanks once again for performing with utmost care and dedication .
