VCI Masterbatch

<b>VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) masterbatches</b> are specialized, high-performance additive concentrates in pellet or granule form, designed for incorporation into polymers during processing to produce anti-corrosion packaging such as films, bags, liners, and molded parts. These masterbatches release controlled amounts of corrosion-inhibiting vapors that diffuse within the enclosed space and adsorb onto metal surfaces, forming a thin, monomolecular protective layer. This barrier interrupts electrochemical reactions by limiting the interaction of moisture, oxygen, and contaminants with the metal surface&mdash;thereby preventing rust, oxidation, and corrosion during storage and transportation.
