You know how good a hostel is and how immaculate the vibes are when it’s supposed to be a 1 night stay over and you end up lapsing there for 2 nights + one an entire day after returning from our trek instead of going back to Kasol. The colour scheme of the hostel, the wooden aesthetic of the rooms, the taste of the food (big recommendation: the hot chocolate), the view of the forest and different landscapes from all sides and the warmth of the sun, staff and the two gems that are Venky and Kumar♥️. Can’t wait to go back !

This cafe is located in Chalal village near POP rainbow Cafe. I went there for lunch last year and met Kumar and Venky, the owners of this place. They were so friendly and the hospitality was top-notch. I loved the vibe of this place. This place has a nice view of the Parvati River. They have rooms and dorms at a cheaper price in this place. The food here was so delicious. For anyone visiting Chalal and wants to stay in a calm place with an awesome view, this place is highly recommended.

Hidden-for-Rest is hands down the best you can pick in Chalal! Every item on the menu is delicious, the rooms are spacious, washrooms clean, the chill-est vibes and the ever welcoming hosts-Venky and Kumar. Everyone is greeted with a warm smile and thoughtful service through-and-through. Right next to the powerful Parvati river and views that will stay with you for a long long time. Highly recommend!

I went there for a cup up tea and ended up staying at their homestay, the place was so peaceful and creative that it attracted my inner art soul. Also best room service available by happy face staff with tons of positive energy. Special thanks to the host for making my trip memorable. Also best part about this place is they allow pets and I had a great company with other pups too. Perfect place for you and your paw buddy.

Wandering along the river & forest in Chalal i found hidden for-rest cafe & stay which soon became my home in Parvati valley. The hosts here, Venky & Kumar are two gem of guys to have met with. As a solo female traveller, they made stay extremely comfortable & safe. Chefs here, Abhishek & Basha are our brilliant MasterChefs. Food here is finger licking but pizzas & nutella choco shake are to die for! Staff here is super fun, friendly, geniune also they know many places around to help you with your trip! The location is also beautiful, right between river, mountains & forest. #homeawayfromhome

This place is actually hidden for the rest. Away from the hustle bustle of Kasol. This place is taken care of by the kannadigas and they know how to take care of their guests. If you talk to them, they will even customise the food. Also, don't forget to try the brownie 😜 They have rooms as well at affordable prices, however, there are no attached washrooms.
