Rajiv at the billing counter did an amazing job. He patiently searched for the lost coupon code for me in the app and made sure that I leave without any disappointment of not able to redeem my coupons from the membership. Kudos to such employees of Max!

Wide variety, reasonable quality.  But cash counters are crowded & busy... shoppers should not have to wait long for paying, otherwise sales will go down!

I recently made a purchase from your store and was charged for a paper carry bag. Unfortunately, the bag tore very easily while carrying it, even though it was holding only a light item. This caused inconvenience and could have damaged the item inside.

For a bag that customers are charged for, I expected better durability. I kindly suggest reviewing the quality of the bags provided, as they should be strong enough to serve their purpose without tearing so quickly.

Recently Max has shifted to a complete building in Elgin road area .It's collection is liked by all .A very good variety for all .It has dresses,pants ,shorts ,T-shirts,tracks,suits,tunics ,night suits and many more clothings .It has a good variety of accessories as well like caps ,bags,purses,clips , earings , neckpieces etc.The variety helps you to make a good choice .Sales personnel are always there to help you . Prices are also good.
But the stuff they sell are not so good .The colours fade after a few washes .Despite the variety and moderate prices we do not get quality products .Wish this is considered .

Not a very good collection but still good enough. The ground floor is ladies western wear, 1st is ethnic, 2nd is kids wear and third men's. Though you do not have a very good collection but just casual enough for daily wear kinds and few may be good ones.
The quality of footwear specially slippers is very pathetic.
The pajamas are good for night wear, though not better then Westside but yeah fyn good enough. The full set is for rs800.

This place is specially for all middle class, during sales you can even get shirts here at the price of 200-300. Collections are very good and I appreciate their good work while I saw a Deaf and Dumb is working as a sales man at their Rabindra Sadan Branch beside Inox Forum Mall. Thanks for the humanity, please do give jobs to this kind of people. They are really in need of this indeed.

Very good collection for kids, women and men. It is located the left side of the Forrum Mall.

This is by far the most humiliating and distressing experience I’ve ever had at any retail store. I visited Max Fashion at bhowanipur, No 14/2A, Srijan Elgin Store, OC Ganguli Sarani Bhowanipur Kolkata, West Bengal - 700020 India Lala Lajpat Rai Sarani ,recently and had a truly shocking encounter.

While using the trial room, my wallet was accidentally left behind for a short time. When I went back to get it, the cash amount of ₹1500 was missing. After repeated requests, we were shown the CCTV footage — and it was clearly visible that only Max staff entered the trial room during that period. Despite this, the store manager lied, initially claiming some customer might have taken it — which was later proven false.

We called Max's customer service multiple times and emailed them several times. We were told we’d receive a "reward" or resolution within 48 hours. But they stretched it just long enough for the FIR filing window to pass. And when the time was up, they simply reduced the claimed amount to ₹350 — offering no real compensation — and declared the matter closed. All this was done through vague emails and misleading calls, tricking us into thinking a resolution was coming.

This wasn’t just poor service — it was a clear attempt to avoid responsibility and silence a customer.
The staff were extremely rude, especially the lady security guard, and the store manager was completely non-cooperative. Instead of helping, they showed disrespect and used delay tactics.

We were left emotionally distressed, our entire day ruined, and we had to return home without support or closure. Max Fashion was a brand I once trusted and shopped at frequently. Now, I feel betrayed.

I strongly recommend everyone to avoid this store at all costs.
If this could happen to me, it could happen to anyone.

Max needs to take strict action against this outlet’s irresponsible and unprofessional staff.

Worst store ever – avoid at all costs

This Max Fashion outlet at Kolkata is the worst experience I've ever had. ₹1500 was stolen from my wallet inside their trial room, and the staff tried to cover it up. We were misled for 5 days with fake promises and delay tactics just so we couldn’t file an FIR after the 48-hour window. No compensation was given not even ₹350 as they falsely claimed.

The staff were extremely rude and unhelpful, especially Soni Das and the lady security guard who behaved very disrespectfully towards us. The store manager was also uncooperative and failed to take any responsibility.

This is a highly unsafe and mismanaged store. Max has lost a loyal customer. I urge everyone in Kolkata to stay away from this store – they don’t value customer safety, trust, or dignity.

Very nice shopping mall. Staffs are very helpful. Huge collection. The women collections have many contemporary outfits. There is a huge collection of various pants, trousers, joggers, etc. Their latest additions are the baggy jeans and mom jeans which are one of the must buy. Huge collection of men's sweatshirts. But the must mention part is the kids section. You'll get a plenty of cute dresses for your little ones. Price range is very expanded. Not too much expensive. You can get here your best regular outfits. So go and check out their collections.

good atmosphere here , staffs were good but no hygiene , i have just contracted some sort of fungi infection in my body by wearing some of the clothes their , so just wanted to tell you all don't wear clothes right their know your'e size . and just wash it before wearing it . stay safe peeps...

The clothes are of excellant quality but, the behaviour of the staff is very bad, they were whispering to each other to make sure to follow me because they thought i was going to steal. Fyi i was walking around because my  family member was paying the bill.
All in all very good quality clothes but the staff should fix that terrible attitude of theirs.

I went to Digha Jagathnath Mandir. It was a great journey and the Resort in Mandarmani was excellent.

4 small floors of cloth stock, though I couldn't comment about ladies or kids cloth collection as they are in different floors, cloth collection for gents is quiet limited, specifically formal trousers are very scarce. Shirts and tshirts, geans are plenty though. Buy not a good variety in stock availability.

Footfall is in the lower side in my opinion, because whenever I have visited here never faced any rush. So good for you if you are in a rush.

The employees are rude. they have no etiquettes. no one actually helps but just finds reasons to tell me that they cannot do anything. The worst employee behaviour i have ever experienced. They have zero respect or empathy. firstly, they do not give you the necessary information then they decide to attack you using those.

Offers are really amazing here. Collection is very good you will get so many variety of clothes almost every clothes you want. There are 3-4 floors, lift and staff is also well behaved. You must visit this outlet of max because they have so many varieties and always some or the offer and sale are there you will get your clothes in so less amount and the product will be worth it🤩
