This is my very long experience somewhere in 1975 - 1978. A normal restaurant I always visit in the morning on Saturday or/and sundays for Chole Bhature and heap glass of malai Lassi. You order it then immediately come in a ovel shape shaped down Chole with a dash of sweet and sour pickle at the corner. The Bhature of 10 inches fully blown one arrives on your table. Really an enjoyable food with a glass of Lassi. I am yet to visit and planning to visit soon

Visited Himalaya Kulfi House opp Shanmukhananda Hall near King Circle today after ages. Being lockdown times, only take away option available at the moment, so packed a Butter Garlic Nan with Paneer Pasanda, Stuff Kulcha, Hundi Biryani and their famous Punjabi Lassi (which was sooo yummm, forgot to take a pic 🙈😂) Have been coming here since early 1970s and happy to say their authentic Punjabi Veg offerings are the closest to what one would get in Chandigarh or Amritsar. Nowadays maybe due to public demand, they have added Chinese dishes but rest assured this is something i personaly wont even try. Give me your timeless Chole Puri, Chole Bhature, Lassi n Kulfi Falooda anytime!!! Yes... also took a Kulfi which we had on the way back 😋😋😋

Himalaya restaurant is the best for authentic North Indian Food in Sion. This restaurant is near my house and am very much familiar with the food. The food here is good in quality and also comes in good quantity. We had oredered a lot of food like appetisers, main course and Biryani. They had packed the food well and neatly.
