“My definition of success keeps changing... As of now, it means to be able to genuinely enjoy my work,” says comedian Urooj Ashfaq (@uroojashfaq). For her, getting behind the mic every single time, even on difficult days, is just as important. “Curiosity keeps me going despite all odds. If I’ve had a bad day, bad week, bad year. I’ll still ask, ‘What happens next? How does this turn out? How does this end?’”
Urooj Ashfaq has learnt much along the journey, and she is celebrating every step. “The greatest lesson I have learnt is being self-reliant. I am learning to really enjoy my own company, being satisfied with myself, and being kinder to and loving myself.”
