Hello Everyone!

To Begin with,Every word I write over here is truth(with evidence) & to protect consumer from fraudulent designers like ICONIC design where you will only taste the feeling of being tortured mentally, zero professional ethics, zero humanity towards women, extreme delays(by 4 months), incomplete project due to nonpayment of labour’s, million excuses, unattended calls, defective product etc.

I’m writing this review in an extreme disgrace & utter shame against Mr.Jiaul Shaikh, the owner of ICONIC design including his team of 1person which was hired for Int designing of my new apartment in Aug 2020.

1) SWEET AS DIABETES ON THE FIRST MEET TO GAIN THE PROJECT - He(Jiaul) has an expertise to convince you with sweet words (agreement to do everything as you need & Infact will suggest you more) & smart actions (carrying his IPAD,a blank paper board to make notes & details of your taste) but the real fact is when it comes to actually delivering it he will give you nothing as discussed.Eg:- A major one, He agreed on the quotation sheet to deliver all the walls with mouldings on “complete ply wood panelling with teak veneer finished moulding” which was included in the quotation but instead gypsum board was used on all the walls & 4inch wide ply was given as support underneath the moulding.If the plan was to cut cost with gypsum board then why was I charged for an insane entire plywood panelled walls for 1000sqft.Plywood + Teak Veneer finished Moulding -170/sqft instead of which gypsum board was used which must 30-40Rs/sqft.

2) COST CUTTING IN REALITY WITHOUT SHARING THE SAVINGS TO YOU.ALWAYS HIDDEN UNLESS YOU INSPECT THE SITE REGULARLY-
A common mans trust in his designer wake him up with reality that there will be many items invisible to the eyes which would be missing & without transferring the savings of uninstalled products to you,as I said a common man will have zero clue about it.Doors replacement,glass partition,veneer headboard,credenza,kitchen handles,kitchen shutters,ceiling fan,wallpapers,floor polishing,video door phone all missing.

3) EXTREME DELAYS DUE TO NON PAYMENT TO HIS OWN LABOURS,STAFFS, & EVEN VENDORS - Project was promised to be completed in 3-4months but his sheer negligence to not supervise the project on regular basis & Non payment of labour’s in due time,It took 7months to deliver a 30% incomplete apartment to me.My 90% of the payment according to the schedule was made in the 4th month,well in advance.The reason being he used all my money to clear his own personal property dues.The project was most of the time with no labour’s door closed as they were not paid.There were some labour’s who spoke the truth.
Also there were many vendors who were unpaid,As I did some ground research on him,I came across a 60yr old vendor in Andheri whose mere 8000Rs was due since more than a year because he never attended his calls.Such a Pity.

4)NOT ATTENDING CALLS WHEN IT COMES TO QUESTIONS ON DELAY & INFINITE EXCUSES - I had to leave country for work & My aunt being the only support was then facing his torture.He stopped visiting the site for inspection, He stopped attending the calls of my aunt asking for delay,replying to my messages,he wanted more money to clear the dues of labour as they stopped working for him.90% payment was handed compared to 70% completed work..After which they left my project incomplete with everything in chaos(pictures attached).Another architect was hired to complete the site & then lately I come to know that all my 5 Air Conditions were completely destroyed from inside, water leaking from basin.His office will be shut when you visit him for this.The mental torture that we have to go through is unimaginable.

I’m not the only victim of this fraud but several other clients like Mr.Sunil(Gym Owner in Andheri),many more.I have details with me.

If you can just imagine there are many more realities but I don’t have space here.It would be my genuine and a humble request to public to please stay away from Jiaul and Iconic Design if you believe a word above.
