We did our Haldi, Sangeet, Wedding, and Reception with Bombay Decorators. I am writing this review so future couples can make an informed decision.
Initial discussions and finalisation were smooth and promising.
The owner and their representative assured us of personal attention and claimed they would be present at the events to ensure flawless execution. They mentioned that although they may be a newer or smaller company compared to others on the panel, they would deliver décor at par with top vendors. We were very clear from day one that cost should not mean compromise on quality, especially for something as important as a wedding.
Unfortunately, the reality was extremely disappointing.
After paying the advance, the demeanor completely changed. The same team that initially said “yes” to everything suddenly became laid-back, dismissive, and uncooperative. Looking back, this should have been a red flag.
Haldi and Sangeet décor was decent, which raised our expectations for the wedding and reception—but that’s where things went downhill badly.
Major Issues Faced:
1.	They had promised to block a small portion of the hall for reception setup, but on the wedding day they blocked almost 50% of the hall, making the entire event extremely congested. Guest count and hall usage were clearly discussed well in advance.
2.	Mandap backdrop designs were sent just one day before the wedding, when we were already occupied with pre-wedding rituals. This is completely unprofessional.The mandap floor had no print, looked like plain cardboardThe wedding and reception stages were flaky, unstable, and unsafe
3.	Lotus installations around the mandap looked premium in reference photos. On the wedding day, they were cheap paper props. Had we been informed earlier, we would have changed the design immediately.
4.	We paid for a customised Vogue-style photobooth with glass, slogans, and names. During the reception, it was just a basic booth with no glass—completely unfinished.
5.	They didn’t even bother removing the mandap before the reception, affecting the entire flow and look of the event.
6.	We paid for a décor shadow/coordinator, and no one turned up on the wedding day.
7.	We asked for a flower shower during varmala—it was not provided.
8.	These were part of the package and never delivered.
9.	Despite repeated promises, no owner-level supervision or our POC was present when it actually mattered.

Overall, this felt like a classic case of over-promising and under-delivering. Once the payment was made, there was no accountability, no ownership, and no concern for how stressful this was for us on our wedding day.
We haven’t pursued a refund because honestly, no amount of money can undo the stress and disappointment caused during such an important life event. This review is only to ensure that other couples are aware before making a decision.
Your wedding day deserves reliability, transparency, and quality. Sadly, we did not get that here.

PLEASE NEVER PAY THEM FULL ADVANCE.

They overcharge customers several times by putting some worthless plastic items...and taking full advance.
