I had heard a lot about Max Fashion before, but I had never actually visited the store. Previously, I used to shop at Reliance Trends and Zudio, so I was already familiar with similar retail outlets. However, my recent visit to Max truly stood out.
The clothing selection was impressive, with a wide variety of styles and sizes available. As someone who is very tall, I often struggle to find the right fit, but Max offered better size options compared to other stores I’ve visited.
Another aspect that really impressed me was the store’s presentation. The entire shop was neatly arranged, clean, and well-organized. Everything was displayed properly, making it easy to browse without feeling overwhelmed. In comparison, I didn’t experience the same level of neatness and tidiness in other stores.
Additionally, the sales staff were sufficient in number and very helpful. They were attentive, polite, and ready to assist without being intrusive, which made the shopping experience even more comfortable.
Overall, my visit to Max exceeded my expectations. It was a well-organized store with a strong collection, good size availability, and excellent customer service.

Very disappointing experience at Max Adoor outlet.
Visited yesterday to purchase ladies kurtas from counters displaying an offer of “2 for ₹499.” The staff guided us to select items from these counters under the stated offer. However, after billing and checking the invoice before leaving, we noticed that one kurta was charged ₹499 and the other ₹599, despite both being from counters displaying the same ₹499 offer.
When questioned, we were told the staff member was new and that the offer applied only to clothes “behind the counter,” which was not explained at the time of purchase. Customers rely on staff guidance and clear display offers. This felt misleading.
When we requested a refund due to incorrect billing, we were told refund was not possible and only exchange could be offered. We then contacted customer care and were told we would receive a callback after they spoke to the store — but no callback was received.
This experience reflects poor communication, lack of clarity in offers, and inadequate handling of customer concerns. Definitely not what one expects from a reputed brand.
I personally wouldn't even give 1 star if possible.

Poor customer service. While purchasing product(bag) on 13th, we were told that it can be exchanged provided tags are not broken. However,we were in for a surprise whn we came 4days later to exchange the product.One executive said we can exchange,while the one at the counter said that as the product is an accessory,it cannot be exchanged and the same is mentioned in the physical copy of the bill. The physical copy of the bill was never given to us as we were told at the time of billing that all bills come on the phone. We checked the phone bill and there is no mention about No-exchange policy.
The next quote from the executive after we showed him the phone bill was.." it is written in the store and we should have read it".

Was really surprised at the level of service at this store as we have not had any such experiences at any of the other Max stores.

Very bad service from billing staff.
Today, my mother and sister visited your store to purchase shoes. The billing staff charged extra for unnecessary items and enrolled them in a membership without their requirement. I would like to understand why such practices are being followed. It appears that your staff is imposing unwanted services on customers. This has resulted in an unnecessary loss of 250 rupees. I kindly request that you address this matter and ensure such incidents do not occur in the future👍🏻

Some cool collections available on reasonable price. Comparing to the opposite one this seems have quality products. Material have a much good quality and may fade later. But still it’s good. And also you could find footwear as well as accessories here. Car parking is limited and we’re not well organized. But now it’s bit organized.

I’m a regular customer and have been visiting this Max showroom for the past year. From day one, we’ve repeatedly complained about the poor AC cooling—it’s always under maintenance, and there are no fans at all.
Moreover there are no seats for customers so customers always end up standing on the closed floors in the heat, which feels terrible. Other Max showrooms don’t have these issues, but this Adoor location is pathetic by comparison. We chose it based on positive experiences elsewhere, but it’s been a huge disappointment.
Please fix the AC as soon as possible!

Best place to buy in this festive period . store offering good parking facility and good customer service . Happy to see you again .

Offers a decent selection, but the stocks are often limited. The staff are okay, nothing extraordinary. However, one major issue is the location - parking can be a nightmare, especially during rush hours. Overall, while Max Fashion has its perks, the inconvenience of parking can be a significant drawback for potential shoppers. Wonderful collection of Kids wear. Earlier you go the better. (There was not much rush in the morning time around 10 a.m)Staff's are customer friendly. XXL Size dress collection was comparatively less.But my overall experience was good

An average experience. Not much collections here. Staffs are okay. Some are useful and some are busy with chit chatting.

Google says the shop opens at 10am and I reched the shop at 10:03 which is when only few staff are present, the store manager itself is not present, the shutter door is half open, the cleaning staff told us the shop is not open. Since we challenged about the opening time as 10am, the cleaning staff responded that the billing is not open, I hence told them I am not here to bill, I need to select items first. Then one of the store sales staff came round and provided minimum hospitality and told us that we can start shopping. While I was on my way upstairs, I could again hear the cleaning staff very evidently talking with each other beside me trying to intimidate myself, I asked them to 'Stop irritating the customer'. I still pursued my shopping which took me more than one hour. Staff must change their attitude and maintain some punctuality. I raised this issue to the store manager Ajay during my billing. I would expect the store manager to arrive before the doors open for cutomers, so do all the staff.

One of the worst experience i ever had in my life, yesterday I visited this store with my kid,we purchased plenty of clothes but somehow my kid took one toy ,I hand it back on the store,but again I started shopping,then finally at the time of billing they told us to pay the bill of that toy also .the toy worth 799/- they told us my son made that toy dirty ,I  was not able to pay the bill,i apologise for what my kid have done for,but those staffs were reacting very rudely,that was  absolutely those staffs mistake,they should have to take care of these kind of toys,no one reacted at that time when he's playing,coz they already planned for the billing.but ,from 2024 itself I'm seeing that toy is there,there are clothes over the floor everybody putting down clothes making dirty nobody paid those clothes bill too.why should I paid.?also the floor was very dirty, why you are paying those cleaning staffs?why you are not putting a staff to take care the toy section?anyway I paid the bill,i and my friends never ever visit adoor max again.we came from kollam coz of the collection of clothes.but we paid for that and it's done.

Dear Max Team,

I recently visited Adoor Max and purchased some clothes. While the shopping experience and collection were good .When I approached the counter, only one billing counter was open, and there was already a queue of customers waiting. The staff member at the counter appeared to be casually chatting with colleagues instead of attending to the customers efficiently. Meanwhile, I noticed other staff members engaged in conversations and laughter with other customers who might be there friends or family

When I questioned the delay, the second counter was opened immediately, which could have been done proactively to reduce waiting time. I feel there needs to be better professionalism and courtesy maintained, especially since Max is a well-known and trusted brand.

Additionally, the air conditioning was not working during my visit, and I was told there was a complaint already lodged. It made the shopping experience quite uncomfortable.

You have a great store and a good range of products — please ensure the staff and environment reflect the same standard so customers continue to enjoy visiting your stores.

I visited Max Store in Adoor recently and had a good shopping experience. The store has a wide variety of clothes for men, women, and kids, with trendy designs at reasonable prices. The staff were generally polite and helpful while guiding me through the collections.

What I really liked was the affordability and the range of options – it’s a good place for family shopping under one roof. However, the billing counter could be managed better, as it sometimes takes longer than expected. Also, it’s worth double-checking the price tags while billing to avoid confusion.

Overall, Max Adoor is a convenient and budget-friendly fashion destination in Pathanamthitta. I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for everyday fashion at a fair price.

Bad experience. Usually I purchase from here. Was okay. But on a visit on 29th August there was no cooling and felt very bad and suffocated . While enquired we got the response as the AC is not working.
