Very disappointing experience at V-Mart, Ashok Rajpath (800006) today.
I visited with my son and my sister’s son to buy toys. The billing counter was extremely crowded. When I reached the counter and gave the toys for billing, the staff said he didn’t know how to scan the barcode and asked me to bring another packed piece from the 3rd floor. I went upstairs, brought another pack, stood in line again, and then he again said he couldn’t scan it. He sent me to the exchange counter, where another staff member checked and confirmed the barcode was working fine. After all this back and forth, I had to stand in line again before the billing was finally done. It was very frustrating and time-consuming.
After reaching home (within about 30 minutes), I wanted to exchange one toy for another of the same price. But the staff refused, saying they only exchange clothes and not toys. This policy was not clearly communicated at the time of purchase.
Also, about 3 days ago I visited around 9:15 PM and the security guard stopped customers from entering even though the store was still open. If entry is not allowed, the store should be closed. If it is open, customers should be allowed to enter.
Overall, the billing experience, staff coordination, and customer handling were very poor. Hope the management improves staff training and makes policies clearer for customers.

The shopping mall was good as well as worth it for price also but the cash counter is worst.
