Nice location surrounded by greenery and a calm environment, but overall experience was average. Rooms were okay but could be cleaner, and service was a bit slow at times. Good for a short stay if you’re looking for budget-friendly lodging, but there’s room for improvement in facilities and hospitality.

When we first arrived at the hotel, we were met with exceptional customer service. Greeted by members of staff, we were guided to a beautifully designed The Lotus Tents  in an amazing private location. The Lotus had its own private pool, 1 King size beds with a view of the jungle and one balconies on each tent.

Breakfast had a small but substantial selection of both Indian and general cuisines. There were fresh fruits everyday from the Lotus Garden.

Dinner saw a selection of Indian dishes, a different daily freshly cooked meal, deserts, and small dishes such as salad. If you didn’t like any of the food, you could ask for non-spicy or other alternatives that the chef would make for you.

The jungle views were amazing.

Worst experience of my LIFE.. Totally SCAM game, they have hired agent to attract customers to book their resort. When you reach at the spot you experience that the reception looks like STORE room. So how can you expect that whole property to look good? There was a waterfall area which totally looks like dumping area and smelly. Literally felt like sewage pineline area. Their rooms were dirty, Bedsheets were smelly, washrooms were poor. Food quality very poor and prices were hipped like 5 star restaurants. Staff miss behaved with my family member. Totally disappointing. There was a gap between door and wall of a Washrooms, no privacy was maintained.

This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. There was no time management, no communication, and nothing was organized properly. The resort didn’t even have basic essentials like towels. We asked for towels at least 10 times, and still never received any.
We ordered food at 7:00 PM, but it was served around 10:30 PM — over three hours later. We were also told about activities like bird glamping, which were later denied, and the morning trek, which was supposed to start earlier, only began around 8:45 AM.
When I tried to complain, the person who booked the room started defending everything and acted like giving us buttermilk on time made up for all the issues. It wasn’t just us — many people there had their weekend ruined.
Do NOT go.

Disappointing Experience at Lotus Resort

We booked a tent at Lotus Resort, expecting a great stay, but what we got was far from satisfactory. Despite being told that only one tent was available, we found that out of 2 dozen tents, only one was occupied 😂.

The location is beautiful, scoring 5/5, but that's where the positives end. The maintenance is severely lacking, with broken showers, dirty toilets, and wires lying on the ground. To make matters worse, the toilet had gaps that compromised our safety and privacy.

The streetlight directly above the tent made it impossible to sleep, and we decided to cut our stay short. The food, however, was great, and we enjoyed it.

To the owners of Lotus Resort, I say this: you've put in great efforts to build this dream resort, and with just a little more attention to maintenance and cleanliness, you can make it a fantastic place for guests. Please take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements. We would have loved to stay and enjoy the beautiful surroundings, but unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be.

⭐ 1/5 — Worst Resort Experience Ever | Total Scam!

We visited this resort for a corporate trip with 25 people, and it turned out to be a complete disaster. Initially, when Bhaskar and Varsha went to the resort for an enquiry, the staff treated them very nicely and made several false promises about great service, food, and day-long activities. But when we actually arrived, no one was there to assist us — it felt like a total scam.

The service was pathetic. Food was served after more than an hour, and when it finally came, it was in unhygienic utensils. The idlis and other dishes were tasteless, food was not covered properly, and bees were flying around. There was no one to serve food; we had to ask repeatedly for everything, and even then, it took 20 minutes or more for basic items to arrive.

They had promised to keep us engaged throughout the day with fun activities, but no staff member showed up. It was completely unprofessional and mismanaged from start to finish.

When we tried to raise complaints, no one came forward at the front desk — everyone simply avoided taking responsibility.

Overall, this resort scammed us with false promises and ruined our corporate trip. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this place — don’t fall for their fake hospitality during enquiry visits.

Very bad experience.
This place looks very good on Google and Instagram, but in reality it is not at all the same.
We did not get basic facilities like towels, napkins, or body wash. The room did not have proper locks, only a zip, which meant no privacy at all.
The washrooms were outside the room, and it felt unsafe to go out to freshen up. There was no hot water and no proper arrangements. The washrooms were not cleaned, which was very unhygienic.
The food quality was extremely poor. Overall, the experience was very disappointing.
This place is not family-friendly at all. There is no private smoking or drinking area, which makes families uncomfortable, especially since kids are present. Liquor bottles and cigarette packets were thrown everywhere.
Not recommended for families. Don’t visit.

The worst ever experience i had ever,
1.  the location sucks which bumpy roads, with no direction board
2.Pathetic service staff they do not listen any request.
3. No geyser no water, washrooms broken with No windows. Untidy And stinking tents which do not even close properly.
4. Do not provide born-fire.
5. Food menu at 5 star hotel rates without
taste coz theres nothing available nearby.
6. Also theres no network and they do not even have wifi which works.
After complain the staff do not help with any resolution says cant do anything.
It’s my honest opinion and suggest to skip this and go better place then this

The resort is beautifully located amidst nature with serene surroundings, making it a perfect spot for a peaceful break. The tents are fairly clean, though being in a jungle setting you may notice spider webs here and there, which is natural to the location, and the staff is polite and supportive.

One of the highlights is the natural stream flowing through the property, which adds a refreshing and unique charm to the stay. Amenities like the pool and garden complement the relaxing vibe, and at night the DJ takes over, adding a fun, lively atmosphere to the calm setting. Food was decent.

Overall, a great place to unwind, enjoy nature, and have some evening entertainment.

Beware — This place is a total SCAM and FRAUD!

We had a very disappointing and frustrating experience at this property. These people are simply playing with customers’ trust and emotions. They charge ₹5,500 per couple for tents that are not even worth ₹1000 per person.

The rooms and washrooms were covered in fungus, bedsheets were unwashed, and the entire place was extremely unhygienic. When we arrived, we requested to check the tents before paying the remaining amount, but they refused and forced us to make the payment first. We trusted them in good faith — and that was our biggest mistake.

We had clearly taken a commitment from their team (Varsha and Mahi) that if the hygiene didn’t meet expectations, we’d receive a full refund. But once we saw the condition and raised the issue, they stopped responding and were completely unreachable. Their customer service is pathetic, and they show zero accountability for their actions.

It’s clear they only care about taking money — no professionalism, no maintenance, no responsibility. Booking this property is like throwing your hard-earned money into the water.

A big disappointment — highly NOT recommended. Avoid at all costs!

Beware of incorrect billing practices. We were charged 18% GST instead of 5% as per the tariff, which is not acceptable. The customer service was slow and unresponsive, and even basic amenities were missing. We had to fight our way out to get the excess GST addressed. Overall, a very stressful and poor stay.

Very bad experience. Do not trust Instagram pictures or videos at all.
The reality is completely opposite. The place is untidy and unhygienic. There is no dam or lake view, only dirty water with garbage around. The approach road is very bad and too long.

The tents are very basic, with no heater, unclean beds and rooms, and the washroom is outside the tent with no geyser or hot water.

Food quality is extremely poor no proper restaurant, breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all very bad.

Overall ambience and view are disappointing and misleading, totally opposite to what is shown online. They took advance payment and did not refund it. A girl named Riya handled the booking and is now not responding or picking calls.

Very unprofessional and dishonest. Please never visit this resort.

DISHONEST MANAGEMENT AND THEFT OF MONEY. AVOID THIS PROPERTY.

I am writing this to warn future guests about the unethical practices at Lotus Resort on Javan Tungi Road.

THE INCIDENT:
• I paid for a 2-night stay in advance (₹3900 per night).
• I checked in late (9 PM) and had to check out the next morning due to a work emergency.
• Since they held payment for a 2nd night that I was not staying for, I requested they settle my dinner bill against that balance.
• They refused to adjust the amount, charged me separately for food, and verbally promised a refund for the 2nd night by Monday.

THE OUTCOME:
The owner is now refusing to answer calls. They have kept the payment for the 2nd night and the dinner charges. This is not about hospitality; this is about theft. If you run into any issues here, do not expect cooperation or honesty.

It’s big a SCAM
We enquired abt this place for 6 people and they shared some nice pictures about the property and took advance as well. When we reached, the place sucks big time. Rooms not clean, the care taker was drunk who was showing the property, this turn out to be blunder and we left the place right away. When asked them to return the advance payment, they did not return the money and said to email us we will send you the refund. This is a big time SCAM. Please don’t visit this place and also don't recommend anyone.

Very bad service and not at all recommended the operation team is also behind just finishing the tents rather then maintaining the quality of crowd if you just want to visit a place to sit and drink must visit! Book a tent and just enjoy the property- want a place for peaceful stay it’s a big NO - i know they will have there own logical explanation for this review as-well like they have responded to other 1⭐️Ratings ( please read the kind of response they post to complains ) but still not recommended! The video i have posted is of 15 folks staying in 2 tents and passing comments for us to leave if it bothers just in case you want to visit in search of peace!

Hi all, let me share one of the worst experiences of my life with these unprofessional and dishonest people.

We were two families a total of 4 adults and 4 kids. We even called on their given number before booking to confirm whether they were genuine, since we had already read some negative reviews about them. They assured us that they had a good property, etc.

Trust me, these are the most pathetic, unprofessional, and fraudulent people I’ve ever come across.
The tent rooms looked like they had never been cleaned ..full of bad odor and unclean. Neither the AC nor the fan was working. The washrooms were broken and absolutely filthy  probably the dirtiest bathrooms in the world.

And the service don’t even ask! If you place a food order now, you’ll have to follow up at least 100 times, and only after 1.5–2 hours will you get something to eat. The food quality was so horrible that you wouldn’t even eat it for free.

Trust me, there were other families and couples there too, and everyone was completely frustrated. These people clearly get paid reviews, otherwise no one would ever give these fraudsters even a single star.

The staff at Lotus Resort were very friendly and always ready to help, making the stay comfortable and pleasant. The tents were spacious, clean, and provided a unique glamping experience. The amenities like the swimming pool and dining area were well-maintained, and the variety of activities such as nature walks and bonfires added to the fun. The resort is surrounded by lush greenery, offering a peaceful environment perfect for relaxation. Overall, it was a memorable and refreshing escape, and I would definitely recommend it to others looking for a nature-filled getaway.

The worst resort and fooling through edited photos. Food quality worse and very unhygienic place with no services and approach to the resorts most  dangerous with no sign boards.

Worst experience in my life. Highly not recommended please don't visit here. Many people are giving bad reviews but the owner is not accepting it, and giving bad replies. Not everyone can give wrong reviews if the resort is bad it is bad just accept it instead of defending. Cockroaches were roaming on the bad activities were closed and no safety measures were there, fishes were there in the swimming pool and it was very dirty. The staff was very unprofessional in hospitality. We were not alone more families were having trouble staying there. This is like reel vs real they show something else and give something else. If you don't want to waste your money then stay away from this resort. And the owner is telling that activities are open from sunrise to sunset due to protocols and the activities are closed around 6.30pm but when we told the staff for activities around 3-4pm they said that the activities are closed around but when we forced them to call the owner, the owner said nothing is closed but then too we couldn't use activities due to low maintainance. I want the owner to reply, what about the cockroaches on the bed and other things.

Worst experience. We were on corporate trip total of 30 people. The experience is horrible. Google picture and reviewsare misleading. All over dirty tent and washroom. Tap and shower were not functioning and dirty, poor maintenance. no hot water. Zero safety,  no safety net around tent and washroom. Dirty dining area and pool, spider net All over.
