We visited Hotel Shaurya Wada around 3:00 PM, and the place was quite crowded. After a 10-minute wait, we were seated and placed our order.
We started with Chicken Kharda, which was spicy but average in taste. We then ordered their special chicken thali. While ordering, the staff asked whether we preferred wheat roti, tandoori roti, or bhakri. We chose bhakri and were informed that it would take some time, which we agreed to.
Unfortunately, the wait stretched to around 45 minutes. Even after such a long wait, the thali was served with only one bhakri instead of two, and the chicken gravy along with several thali items was cold. By the time we requested and received the second bhakri, we had already finished most of the meal.
The overall service was extremely slow and poorly coordinated. While multiple staff members were available to take orders, getting even basic items delivered required following up with 2–3 different staff members, which was frustrating.
Overall, the experience was quite disappointing, mainly due to poor service and lack of attention to basic details. Based on this visit, I would not recommend this place, especially on weekends, if you value timely service and a properly served meal.

Atmosphere is good and food taste is also good. However, quantity is very low and prices are quite high. Ordered Chicken Lollipop — the size was very small and the price was ₹380, which is not worth it. Overall experience is average considering the cost.

This might be overhyped.

The restaurant has two floors one of which was closed. The upper floor was spacious.
We had ordered 3 mutton thalis out of which only the red (tamda) rasa was unlimited. The rest other items were not unlimited. They should provide atleast the yellow Russia in unlimited category.

The taste was above average. The rasa didn’t have any special blast of flavour. The quantity of sukha given in the thali was decent. However, the rice was very soft and of premium quality. You can get taste in the mutton handi but they give very limited pieces (like 4 or 5), despite it has a cost of ₹600-700/-

The staff were not paying attention. They didn’t not respond whenever we called them and were having fun by crowding at one place. It was irritating.

Overall you should not come to this place if you want to eat real authentic Kolhapuri mutton thali. I am quite disappointed.

we are currently dining at hotel shauryawada. we ordered thali as it comes first. we waited for 50 minutes. after asking again again food arrived.

guest arrived after us were served prior.

when we walked in we spoke in marathi as hotel is marathi owned by marathi person.

manager/captain told us yahaa pe koyi marathi mein baat nahi karta. through their spoken style we figured they are from bengal. and maybe just for asking why he is not speaking marathi he made us wait.

we are not a political affiliated people or here to run any agenda.

we are 11 of us. friends visiting lonavala from mumbai for stay.

Super tasty and quite affordable! Read a review which said "पोट भरलं पण मन नाही" this review sums up our experience perfectly! Every dish was delicious! The only downside is waiting time! Mutton Raan, Mutton Thaali, Harabhara kebab, paneer tikka, corn starter everything was just🤌nonveg costed just 600 per person for 9 person group!

Name is popular in Pune and region.
Didn't disappoint here either.
Had their special mutton raan. Took more than 30-40 minutes to arrive. Was excellent in taste, particularly with ghee provided with it. 4-5 people can have their meal in this one dish.
Veg dishes were also excellent.
Seating arrangements is uncomfortable.
Ambience is nothing exceptional.
Overall experience is worth it. Definitely a good place to have your lunch while near Lonavala.

I tried the mutton special thali—the Aalni Rassa and mutton loncha were the real highlights. The rest of the dishes were good as well. Service was quick, the staff was polite, and the ambience was pleasant with a fantastic seating arrangement.

Honest Review:
If you’re planning to visit just because of their reels or social media hype — I’d suggest, don’t go. It’s all marketing, nothing else.

The food was absolutely tasteless and pathetic, and the service was poor.
We ordered buttermilk, which was too salty, and solkadi had no proper flavour.
The chicken raan wasn’t fresh — half of it was cold and unevenly reheated.
Both gravy dishes were overloaded with spices, yet somehow still bland.

Overall, not recommended at all.
You’d have a far better and more satisfying meal at any regular dabba, especially considering the high prices they charge here.

Be aware: In the Mutton Thali, essentials like rassa and aalni are not unlimited and cost extra. The Chicken Raan is not worth the price and feels dry 2 people are not able to finish

One of the better option for Non veg at Lonavala. Service is really good. Food was good except Wheat chapatis, please avoid that. Otherwise it’s a nice place.😊😊

Excellent Food & Warm Hospitality

I visited Hotel Shauryawada with my entire family and had a truly wonderful experience. The food was absolutely awesome — the mutton was outstanding, perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the chicken dishes were equally delicious.

What really stood out was the quality and variety. Along with authentic traditional Marathi food, they also offer other options beyond the usual menu, and everything we tried was excellent.

The staff was fantastic — polite, attentive, and very welcoming, which made our family visit even more enjoyable.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, generous taste, and a pleasant dining experience with family. Will definitely visit again!

We recently visited Hotel Shaurya Wada, Lonavala, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing.
The floor was not clean, and there were used tissue papers lying around, which was quite unpleasant and unacceptable.
The food taste was just average — not as good as expected. We ordered several items, out of which the Chicken Lollipop was very small in size and even half-cooked.
The restaurant seems to be overhyped on social media, but the actual experience did not match the expectations at all.
Overall, a very disappointing visit. I hope they improve their cleanliness and food quality.

I visited shouryawada lonavla branch on sunday waited for 45 minutes to get the table and after reaching their no staff was commendable to me the taste was worst the service is pathetic no plates and glasses on table we have to ask for it even after that we asked for bill it came after 5 minutes its just a overhyped hotel not recommended to everyone🙏

taste is not so great. I think this is the first place I encountered where extra pandhra rassa on a thali is charged.

Had some Awesome food here at Shauryawada. We were served by raj who is very professional with the service and customer requirements. Food quantity is a scope to improve but taste is top class.
