I have been a regular at their Suryama cafe for four decades. Food at Raviraj has been an enigmatic pleasant surprise. It is usually so good, so sensibly priced, it remains the best kept secret of Deccan Gymkhana. If it is a takeaway, family outing, or banquet, Oriental and Continental - usually the bug bear of Indian kitchens, is the strong good of this simple, elegant and.homely property.

Felt comfortable to stay. I visited Pune for a medical purpose. Hotel staff were polite, friendly, appreciate and helpful. Room was nice, well maintained, cleaned and hygiene’s. Owner is very friendly and behaviour is nice. One can feel like at home.

We booked 2 rooms for Families. One of the room's Bathroom was Choked up. They shifted us to another room. The other room's bed was covered with Rat shit and stains on the blankets. They shifted the other room at 1.30am. But the other shifted room is completely uncleaned and awful too. Very bad experience.

A great place for family gatherings and functions. The food is awesome and the  staff is polite. The location is easily accessible. Hotel entrance has a ramp that allows easy access for the elderly and specially abled.

This hotel is centrally located. In the year  90's & 2000 used to be very very good. Food was delicious those days. Now it's ok.

Worst experience , 45 years old hotel, with same old decore. Most of the rooms are still with window AC. Staff dont have basic manners to talk. Owner is very arrogant.

We were allotted Suite, with Rs 4,500 per day. Please see the photos of suite. Worst experience .

I have known this hotel for nearly two decades. I visit Pune every year and I stay only in Hotel Raviraj for one reason only. When in this hotel you feel you are at home. Very friendly and helpful staff. Surprisingly all the staff have been there for over two decades. Personal and professional cuisine, comfortable rooms and reasonable tariffs. @home feel influences on to extend their stay....you can't leave your home.

Raviraj is always my choice for breakfast and evening meetings. One of the reasons is the location,  food, privacy, quietness and value for money.
Their outdoor cafe called lumiere is also very nice. The vibes of trees, quiet and nice food!
I particularly like the design of the tables and chairs in the dining area.  Yes,  the decor is slightly old school but I like it that way.  Compact chairs and good solid tables.

I had organised a family get together on the Roof top terrace on 18 July 2025 in the evening.
All arrangements were in place with a meticulous eye.
The environment was fabulous.
The choice of food items offered is extensive and the food as ordered including the starters were sumptuous.
The staff was courteous, proactive and looked after the guests in a befitting manner.
All in all a great place in the heart of the city to enjoy with friends and family.

Everything was as promised. Mayur hall with its ambience was so perfect that we decided to conduct all our future events in RAVIRAJ.
The icing on the cake was the fresh vegetable cutlets. Highly recommend menu for all occasions.

We had our annual corporate meet at Hotel Raviraj.  Very good arrangement in the Hall. Nice food and cooperative staff. Restaurant is neat and clean.

Food was good and so was the service.

We had hosted a party  for 14 of our relatives. This was arranged on the roof top. Seating arrangement , lighting was just perfect. We had ordered crispy corn, paneer tikka, chicken tikka for starters. Veg and chicken biryani for main course and caramel pudding for dessert. All the dishes were just perfect . Service was great . Over all a perfect experience. Big thanks to the management for making it a memorable experience.

We had a disappointing experience with Hotel Raviraj. We booked a room for our friends and paid ₹3,000 at the time of booking. Later, we received a call from the hotel asking us to pay the full amount 10 days in advance. Since we were not comfortable with this policy, we requested a cancellation, and the hotel assured us that the refund would be processed to the original payment account. However, it has been over 20 days, and we have yet to receive the refund. Moreover, the hotel staff has not been responsive to our calls. This lack of professionalism is unacceptable.

I recently stayed at Hotel Ravi Raj and had a fantastic experience. The place was impressive, making me feel secure throughout my stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking comfort and peace of mind during their travels.

Had the worst exprience at this hotel! You deny refunding the money after promising to refund it in a week. We‘ve been in constant touch with the hotel and you kept saying you would refund it but then deny it after 15 days. Your own employees suggested us to file a complaint in the consumer court to get our money back saying ‘unless we do that we wont be entertained by the owner’.. says a lot about your hotel! Looks like this is not the first time you’ve done this. Absolute fraund!!!

The location is excellent and food is equally good. Staff is very hospitable and were very co-operative. The service was great and everything was executed as per the plan. We had a party for about 60 people and food was served in a timely manner with proper set up arranged.

Excellent & prompt Service by Raviraj staff & economical package deal !! Testy food. Appreciated by all members of the group !! Hall very apt for total members present !! Overall all members were happy !! Thanks 🙏
