Much of modern life now unfolds inside small glowing rectangles and with this the texture and colour of the physical world risks fading into the background.

So with our 12th Conçu store (in Kondapur), we wanted to try something else. A room layered with bold colours, memories, and art. A quiet counter-movement of sorts.

Thoughtfully designed by @sonareddystudio, at Conçu Kondapur the walls are filled with joyful picnic-themed acrylic paintings by @lenskumar : mats and hats on grass, scattered fruit, fragments of languid afternoons outdoors. Small visual reminders of leisure, sunlight, and the gentle absurdity of doing nothing in particular.

An art café to gently interrupt your day the way a good painting, or a long picnic, sometimes does.

This is the season of in-betweens and of switching loyalties mid-week. Of sunny days that make you crave iced drinks with condensation on the glass and of rainstorms that demand hot chocolate even as the pavements steam.

We do not choose one mood. We host them all. Ice, coffee, citrus, cocoa each one a different way of staying present in the shift. Somewhere in that transition is the ritual and somewhere in the ritual, we find a reason to sip.
