After a turbulent ride through the first half of 2020, we made it to the other side. And I honestly consider this side of the calendar to be brighter and happier. Mostly because so many festivals are in store for all of us, not even the pandemic-blues can curb our excitement entirely! Regardless of religious or cultural affiliations, if you live in India, you can't resist being psyched about an approaching festival, especially considering it's accompanied by the chance to get together with those we love. We all could use some of that in 2020, don't you think? And the next such happy occasion in the cards is the festival of Onam!

Onam, or Kerala's 10-day harvest festival, is one of the most vibrant, multi-faceted festivals of the country, comprising of cultural activities ranging from dance to decor to dress-up. But most of the Malayalis I happen to know, tend to be the most thrilled at the thought of Onam Sadhya. And why wouldn't they be? A grand vegetarian feast replete with 25 or more dishes, arranged beautifully on a large, lush Banana leaf. Who in their right mind can say no to that? If you mirror my sentiments, but your cooking skills are holding you back from the lavish festival feast, here's a list of 5 restaurants in Bangalore serving the most mouth-watering Onam Sadhya meals this year. Happy to help!

*It's highly advisable to make your bookings and reservations at least a day or two in advance. Preparing an Onam Sadhya meal can be a tedious affair, so inform the restaurant about your visit, well ahead in time!*
