Walk into this old, cosy bakery and you'll be greeted by that heavenly smell of freshly baked goodies first thing. There are a number of tidbits and baked treats up for grabs here, but so far nothing has appeased our appetite the way their sugar doughnuts have managed to. Sweet and simple, yet absolutely mouth-watering, Thom's Bakery sells some of the most underrated doughnuts in all of Bangalore city. Not only are they reasonably priced, but the homely taste keeps you coming back for more.

If you like being spoilt for choice when it comes to gorging on doughnuts, this is the place you should head to in Bangalore. The doughnuts here are perfectly pillowy, yet have that crispy texture we adore so much. The variety of flavours is quite extensive, but to state with their butterscotch doughnut is one we'd wholeheartedly suggest you go for. The chocolate-filled, and blueberry doughnuts should also be on your radar if you're looking to experiment with different kinds, before picking your favourite.

Delice has a number of baked offerings to spare, all made available at highly pocket-friendly prices. Which is why, its mostly frequented by the college-going populace of the city. Their doughnuts are equally reasonably priced, but boast of a nostalgic taste we've come to cherish. All the food at this quaint place is freshly prepared, and the yum taste can attest to that.

When you're talking about the best doughnuts in Bangalore, or any other city for that matter, giving MOD a miss has to be a cardinal sin. Aptly named considering how well it caters to the doughnut-heads around, you will find an assortment of flavours and doughnut varieties at a Mad Over Donuts outlet near you. We highly recommend the Kitkat Krunch, Rainbow Surprise, Double Trouble and Divine Crush flavours, but go ahead and choose your own favourite!

Glen's Bakehouse has long been deemed one of the best bakeries in Bangalore city, and all the residents will wholeheartedly verify that title. It offers a number of freshly baked preparations to satiate an active sweet tooth, but their doughnuts have been on our minds since this lockdown started. From their lauded menu, we'd pick the loaded doughnuts any day, especially when we are looking for a short and sweet treat to please ourselves with!

Deep-fried to perfection and glazed just right, Sweet Chariot offers some of the best doughnuts in Bangalore. There's a wide range of bakery products up for grabs at this dessert haven in the city, but their chocolate-based doughnuts are some of our favourite sugary goods to indulge ourselves with. If you're a person with simpler Doughnut preferences, we wouldn't give their classic, powdered-sugar doughnuts a miss if we were you!

A cafe dedicated to the love for doughnuts, can it get any better than this? We have been talking incessantly about a couple of flavours since we first visited this cute parlour in Electronic City, and those include the cinnamon, chocolate chip and crunchy milk varieties. If you're feeling particularly adventurous, we'd also recommend taking a gander at their mango doughnuts, and dual marble doughnuts, both of which will pleasantly surprise your taste buds, for sure.

Lavonne falls a tad on the fancier end, but this is one of those must-visit places in Bangalore, where each dessert is worth every additional penny you shell out. Everything you pick from their enticing display is bound to be absolutely divine in both taste and quality, but their classic doughnuts are some of the best we've tasted till date. One look at the expansive menu, and the phrase "spoilt for choice" will take on a whole new meaning.
