Leh is the town in leh district, situated in Jammu and Kashmir and it is the largest town of Ladakh, which is the region of Jammu and Kashmir. Leh-Ladakh is the cold deserted place of India because the temperature is very low here. every year, most of the people who visit Ladakh are tourists. People of Ladakh have immense blind belief in the spirited world, gods and mythology. No work is done here without considering the mythological beliefs and they usually go to the lamas of the monasteries who are believed to be the major interconnection between the humans and gods or the spirited world.

We Don't Know if it is a myth or superstition but according to the people of Ladakh especially the Buddhist blindly believe the mythological and spiritual powers of the spirited world and consider it as their culture.
Sports
There are two major traditional sports of Ladakh which are Archery and Polo, Archery is a very old sport that has been there for years around the villages of leh Ladakh there is also a popular archery festival which includes music dances and other bright things that can mesmerize everyone, this festival is held in summers.
Whereas, near the Kargil region this game takes more seriously and the festival or competitions are bereft of music and dances and the this is held in the early springs. People of Ladakh enjoy this exceptional sport more than anything. The other sport that is popularly played in Leh-Ladakh is polo.
Religion
The main religion to be followed in Leh-Ladakh is Buddhism. Before the rise of Empires, each nomadic tribe followed its own religion cults of shamanism, animism and ancestor worship. It has been found that the religions followed in Ladakh prior to the rise of Empires was a collection of such practices until Buddhism was promoted by the Indian Empires and spread in Ladakh. Buddhism made a way to Ladakh through Kashmir and later to Tibet through Ladakh.
Also, some of the areas in Ladakh which were near to Kashmir was also influenced by Islam, that became the second religion that is followed which makes the culture of Leh-Ladakh so vibrant.
Ladakh has Buddhism as its main religion and more than 77% of the population of Ladakh is Buddhist. Other than that 14% people of the whole population follows Islam. Since there was a time when Hinduism was dominated in Kashmir there is also some remains of the religion in Ladakh. British influence too percolated a bit through Missionaries during British rule and a few Sikhs from in the Princely States of Punjab migrated to Ladakh because of which there was 0.2% of both Sikh and Christain religion following people in Ladakh.
