India International Trade Fair 2019 Delhi, the most awaited shopping & trading event in Delhi has come back to the city and it's all guns blazing this once! From art to food and state-specific exhibits, like always, there's something new for everyone here. The IITF 2019 theme personifies itself - the "ease of doing business" in our emerging economy. And not just for the entrepreneurs but for all sorts of small scale or large scale business houses, the Trade Fair 2019 at Pragati Maidan, Delhi is the ground zero for aspirations taking off high in the sky.

Sharing a personal experience, I would say that the fondest memories I have of the India International Trade Fair are about those picnics in one of the green spots of Pragati Maidaan. With homemade food, a bottle of soft drink and so many cool things to look up to, it all felt so good even after getting tired of hopping from one pavilion to another for the quirkiest of home decor or those offbeat merchandises that come straight from the curator's mind to this exhibition.

Back in those days, there weren't any cameras to hold onto these moments but now you can! So don't let this opportunity slip away, just head out to the IITF 2019 Delhi for an experience that is surely going to last for long in your mind. 

 

 

Important Information 

  • Entry to the Indian International Trade Fair 2019 Delhi will be restricted to business-oriented visitors for the first few days, with a ticket that will be priced at 500/-. However, for the general public, it will be open from 19th November onwards, with tickets priced at 40/- for adults on weekdays and 60/- for adults on weekends.

 

  • Parking will be available near gate no. 1 across the Bhairon Mandir complex, however, it is on a first come first serve basis and it is advised for the visitors to use public transport (Delhi Metro) to reach the IITF 2019 Pragati Maidaan.

  • You can also purchase IITF tickets offline, directly from the ticket counter at the venue.
  • However, it is advisable to buy tickets from the metro stations to avoid long queues at the venue. For more information on offline tickets, visit the official IITF website

 

  • Outside food can be taken inside, however, there are various food courts and stalls inside for those who don't. 

 

  • Apart from the entry ticket to the venue, there won't be any extra charges to get access to all the exhibit pavilions inside. 

 

What To Expect?

The IITF 2019 will showcase various cultural, ethnic and national exhibits from the various corners of the world. Food from different countries, clothes and ethnic wear from the vast lands of India and cultural displays of music and dance would grace the event with vivid colours and flavours. Expectations hailing from the previous year's event, one should definitely check out the Sajawat and Handicraft Handloom exhibits this once. For those who love to eat, the eateries of Rajasthan state pavilion would definitely make for a reason to be here. For the tech-savvy souls among, the Gadget Bazaar is simply an all things inclusive stop. Wo with something of everything for everyone, you cannot expect what to expect from the India International Trade Fair 2019.

The Old Fort Lake

  • This is an entry ticket specific venue and the event authorities reserve the right to refuse admission or postpone the event at all times. 
  • Although, parking spots are available nearby, yet the event authorities hold no responsibility for any theft or stolen articles from your vehicle. Parking is solely at the owners' risk.
  • Consumption of alcohol, tobacco products or narcotic substances is prohibited in the IITF compound. Non-compliance of the same can result in legal prosecution against the individual.
  • The tickets are non-refundable in nature and cannot be used after the date prescribed is expired.
  • Any misconduct or misbehaviour will be lead to legal prosecution by the event authorities. The event authorities can deny entrance to the same if any such behaviour is observed during or before the event.

A. There's no such special time for visitors, except the business-oriented timings that are available for the first few days, apart from which, the crowd is more likely to be dense on weekends and during the evening and late hours.
