Close to nature, closer to the environment, is the precise vibe of this beautiful cafe called Big Tree Cafe in Gurgaon. Wrapped around in lush green trees, starry lighting and the smell of deliciously cooked meals, Big Tree Cafe has become a go-to place for romantic evenings. Not only their "plant more trees" and "no plastic" policies are commendable but the ambience and food they offer alongside a good deed are seriously awe-mazing. Big Tree Cafe is still pretty new so I think a lot of people might still be unaware of such a gem in their city. But that's what I am here for.
The initial kick-off of Big Tree Cafe was in February 2020, a few days before the nationwide lockdown. But we know how that might have worked out. Anyhoo, now that things are slowly going back to normal, I'd like to re-introduce to you a cafe practising sustainable development with grace. Furthermore, alongside providing the most whimsical setting for a date night this cafe is whipping heart-warming dishes, mocktails and more.
And if that wasn't enough let me give you more reasons to go and check this place out for yourself.
1. Outdoor Seating
A wintery evening with a little nip in the air and fairy lights covering up lush-green trees just enough to make them stand out even during the dark... now that's the perfect amount of out-standing I'd expect in an outdoor setting. And with looks of the cafe, I think Big Tree Cafe has nailed it.
2. A Bigger Cause To Support
1 cafe, 2 deeds. Along with serving you great food, these people are taking care of mother nature in all its glory. A "no plastic" zone sounds impressive and awakened. While the initiative to "plant more trees" is inspiring.
3. A Lot Of Vegan Options
Big Tree Cafe has already picked up a reputation for being socially driven and aware. Now, on top of that, they are serving Vegan food. That's more than amazing, it's actually thoughtful.
4. It's Pet Friendly
Of course, it is. Now, your pets can accompany you as well.
5. An Amazing Palette of Dishes
The food here is quite drool-worthy and different. For instance, there's a dish called Pink Pepper Mushroom Stew. Even their desserts are very atypical. Beetroot Halwa, Gulab-E-Rum, Avocado Choco Mousse, etc. Then there are shakes like Pan Kiwi Shake and Popcorn Caramel Shake along with yummy mocktails to stay for.
I think it's a place worthy of at least a single visit. You'll come for their immaculate setting but stay for all the good deed and food they are offering.
