Dear men, we live in the 21st century and just like the fairer sex, our skin deserves some love and pampering every other day, and doing so is not going to make you any less of a man. You aspire and work hard to get a similar physique as your man crushes like Vidyut Jamwal or Shahid Kapoor, then why not give some extra care to your skin, just as your favourite celebrities do. Trust me, the amount of time and effort you spend on hitting the gym religiously, channelling a quarter of this dedication in taking care of your skin will suffice to get you a flawless, glowing face. 

In recent years, the grooming market in India for men has flourished tremendously, and there are many men's grooming brands competing against each other to lure in the men in this country. Unlike women, men usually don't go through elaborate skincare rituals mostly due to a lack of knowledge But don't fret, because we are with a step by step guide that you can follow to protect and nourish your skin and keep your face looking young and fresh. 

1. Cleanse Your Skin

Be it any season of the year, excessive oiliness is a skin issue that a lot of us face irrespective of the gender. Men have harder skin and it tends to get more oily. Oiliness can block your pores and lead to pimples and acne. The best way to avoid this is to cleanse your skin with a face wash at least twice a day. Washing your face will remove dirt, grime, and excess oil that has settled inside your pores.

2. Exfoliate Your Skin

Once you are done with the cleansing part, you should scrub away any dead cells that have clogged the pores and can cause breakouts. Exfoliating helps to keep the healthier skin cells live on the skin surface, giving your face the brightness and glow you desire the most. It also minimizes any wrinkle problems. Make sure you exfoliate your skin twice a week, rubbing some good face scrub on your skin gently for 3-4 minutes.

3. Moisturize Your Skin

Done with the cleansing and exfoliating bit? Well, now comes the time to hydrate it. Like you need water to live, your skin needs to be hydrated in order to stay glowy and shiny. A good moisturizer helps deliver soothing nutrients to your skin making it smooth and also easier to shave smoothly. Make sure you moisturize your face twice a day, once in the morning and once before bedtime.

4. Sunscreen To The Rescue

Sunscreen is the best product to prevent ageing of your skin, and it should be applied every time you plan to step out of your home. Apply it on the parts of your body that are exposed to the sun to avoid getting sunburns, dry patches, or even skin cancer. Shielding your face and body parts with sunscreen is as important as covering your body with clothes. Sunscreen with SPF 30+ is the one that the doctors mostly recommend. Always ensure that you have a sunscreen bottle in your bag so you don't end up prematurely facing skin concerns like fine lines, wrinkles and dark spots.
