India’s first Interactive Music Museum is all ready to set its footprints in the hearts of music lovers. It gives us immense joy to announce the launch of “Indian Music Experience”(IME),  India’s first state of art music museum to the public at Brigade Millennium, J.P. Nagar.

It is also a privilege to have the legendary “Ustad Zakir Hussain” performing at the launch of “Indian Music Experience” through a fusion confluence along with iconic Jazz musician Louiz Banks and several other renowned artists. 

 

Popularly known as the Tabla Maestro, Ustad Zakir Hussain is arguably the most famous Tabla player of our country in the post-independence era. Over the years, he has performed with many talented musicians not just in India but also across the world. He became a famous international celebrity after taking the sounds of Tabla to many international festivals and shows.

The IME is an initiative of the non-profit Indian Music Experience Trust, supported by the Brigade Group. The vision of the museum is to increase the understanding and appreciation of the diversity of Indian music, from the traditional to the contemporary through exhibits, performances and learning activities.
