In search of a filling lunch, I went to this attractive cafe located in the cafe crowd of Rajouri Garden. Attractive as in the sense they’ve hanged a real small sized plane outside the building, exteriors and interiors both are quite interesting. ✈️ Named the Junkyard cafe, they have used junks like large cans, tyres, metal pieces etc. to decorate their place. So, I ordered Peri Peri Chicken Breast, and Chicken Biryani. Chicken Breast was served with mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables with a spicy and sour peri peri dip. It tasted really good, but the quantity seemed less with the price tag of ₹525, without taxes.
I’ve been a great fan of their Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani, but, I must say, this time these guys disappointed me. Maybe their chef has changed or something. Chicken wasn’t as flavourful as it used to be and the biryani had large chunks of cardamom, tej patta, clove, etc. that was spoiling the taste. I won’t order biryani again.

The best place for biryani 🍲
Although this is not a place where one would visit for biryani 😂 but my cravings are really different so I ordered #ChickenHyderabadiBiryani 🍗. The biryani was really yummy, perfectly spiced and the chicken was smoked in perfect spices too! 🤩 I may have ordered biryani for 7-8 times since then! Other food items and shakes are tasty too! I’ve tried mushroom pizza, peri peri butterfly chicken, chilli chicken, chilli mushroom, mushroom tikka etc. Everything here is just yumm!

Ambience was full of junk, I thought only change they should make is less of noise and good seating arrangement.
