This place is easily my top choice for breakfast in the area. The Benne Dosa is definitely one of the best in town—perfectly crispy and has that authentic charcoal-cooked flavor that’s hard to find elsewhere. 😋 Every time I visit, the food is fresh and consistently hits the spot. 🥞🔥 ​The only real downside since they revamped the place is that they stopped serving the tandoori chai. ☕️💔 It was such a unique part of the experience, and I’d honestly love to see them bring it back. Even without the tea, it’s still a solid 5-star spot for the food alone, but that chai would make it perfect again! 🙌✨

Very good benne dosa's I have been eating from past 2 years...... Now they have renovated the shop....looks good but very less space to sit and eat.... specially when you are with family. They have reduced the seating area and increased the cooking space. But still worth all these, it's a must try and best dosa place I have ever been to in Bangalore. There are other outlets with the same name, but trust me their taste is not as good as these guys. My top favorites are Onion masala open dosa: very soft spongy filled with onions and loads of onions.... caramelized sides and loads of butter. Butter masala dosa: their OG dosa which is mild in taste but has its own speciality. Their beverages are just epic: Do try these if you are a Chai or Coffee lover: Adrak Spl chai/tea ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Their special DGB coffee ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Lemon tea with honey ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Trust me, such chai and coffee one cannot find even in tea points or coffee points....it's that good!! Earlier they used to sell Tandoori Matka chai, which was my all time favorite....but recently they have stopped it as there is no much demand and many people don't know about it.... I hope one day it will be also back. 🤞🤞 🤞 One last tip: Visit on Weekdays if possible.... Weekends are over crowded and wait time sometimes goes above 30-45 mins. If visiting on weekends, do try to go early before 9.

This dosa is finger licking good..must place to visit for all the dosa lover.. its very authentic buttery and will melt in your mouth. Dosa was prices at 99 and Masala puddu at Rs 139..we had filter coffee and tea whiich were also good.

Recently visited this place to try their benne dosa and paddu, food was super delicious and freshly prepared. Paddu was crunchy and delicious. Their ginger tea and tandoori chai was also nice. Highly recommend to visit this place.

Excellent Service, Taste and Quality. It's prepared from Homely Stove, Set dosa and very soft and Butter dosa was crispy. Had lemon Ginger tea with honey have gave me extreme freshness. Highly recommend to tea lovers and Dosa Lover's must try Once in Davanagere Benne Dosa. Staff were very humble, Hygiene well maintained hotel. This has fast become one of our favourite spots for breakfast in HSR Layout. The Davangere Benne Dose is spongy soft, with a generous amount of butter. Cooked on a wood fire, it tastes delicious. The mildly spiced white potato filling is a perfect foil for the fiery chutneys the dose comes with. The Khali Dose and Masala Dose here are great, as are the Masala Paddu. Milk tea, coffee and lemon tea are decent. In the evenings, this place serves snacks like girmit, along with the ubiquitous French fries and veg nuggets. We tried the girmit, and liked it a lot. This is a small self-service place with a decent amount of indoor and outdoor seating. It tends to get crowded over the weekends, so plan your visit accordingly. Be prepared for the butter overload in the food, though - I'm not really comfortable with it, but the taste of the food makes it definitely worth the occasional indulgence, for us. Hygiene is decent.

Excellent Dosa and other variety dishes. Loved their style of cooking in wood fire. Also they don’t serve conventional idly, vada, khara bath etc and this is their USP focusing on strength. Tried butter Dosa and thatte idly it was excellent. You need to wait for your order to be served they dish out based on token numbers and this takes easily about 15 minutes for you to receive the order. Hope this is only on weekends.

My go to breakfast place to best Thatte Idli and Devangere dose Other places with the name Devangere don’t even come close to their taste. The coffee/tea can improve. But I swear by all other edibles on the menu!

Very nice Davanagere Benne dose. Liked the thatte idli too. The taste is superb. This dose variant I had for the first time.
