Highlighting their authentic Burmese cuisine , this authentic place is a gem. Not only does it serve an enormous range of exciting vegetarian options but their broths and bowls have generous portions of coconut milk that will leave you licking your fingers. Salads and small plates of Lotus stem chips are everyone's favorite. You can also enjoy gluten-free options at the place. From the Editor's Desk

I recently tried Burma Burma and ordered their crunchy tofu bun. It was absolutely delicious! The tofu was perfectly cooked and had a nice crunch to it. The overall flavour was spot-on and left me wanting more. As someone who loves Japanese cuisine, I was thoroughly impressed. I couldn't help but share my experience on social media. The freshness and quality of the sushi at Burma Burma is definitely something to rave about. Highly recommend!

I visited Burma Burma and had the Shiitake Autumn Crunchy Roll—it was delicious! It was one of the very few restaurants that offers tasty keto diet options, and I was pleasantly surprised. The roll was flavourful and crunchy and I'd definitely recommend it. It was a great discovery for me.

Mont Lone Yay Paw is a traditional dessert served during the Thingyan Festival, which symbolises renewal, abundance, and togetherness.

Through this dessert, people express gratitude for the harvest and invoke blessings for prosperity in the upcoming year.

The act of preparing and sharing the dessert with family, friends, and neighbours fosters a sense of community and unity, strengthening social bonds and signifying the spirit of generosity and goodwill that characterises Thingyan celebrations.

In essence, it is not just a dessert but a symbol of cultural heritage, communal harmony, and the spirit of abundance that defines the Burmese New Year festival of Thingyan.

At Burma Burma, we hope you come by and take a bite of Mont Lone Yay Paw as we are serving the Thingyan Festival menu till 19th May. We look forward to you being a part of the joy behind sharing food and creating memories over food.

Home dinners are a tradition, but we also love dining out. When I heard about Burma Burma’s celebration of the Burmese New Year, centered around community feasting, I couldn’t resist taking the family. My kids were especially thrilled to hear tales of their grandfather’s time in Burma. For a great family outing, check out their Thingyan menu! #burmaburmaahmedabad #burmaburmaindia

We wanted to bring the experience of the water festival to you.

During Thingyan festivities in Burma, water symbolises washing away the past year and starting anew. While the streets of Burma are thriving with people spraying water at each other, the water ritual in temples and at home is different. The Burmese sprinkle water on images and idols of Buddha in temples and at home. And, on the elderly and their guests as well, it’s a mark of respect.

That’s why, when you dine with us this month, our small ritual of performing the royal Burmese hand wash hopes to bring the spirit of Thingyan and the Burmese New Year.

Come and celebrate the Thingyan Festival with us till 19th May. We look forward to serving you.

It’s time to celebrate! Make your way to Burma Burma’s latest pincode - Oberoi Mall, Goregaon.

Every corner of our space vibrantly celebrates the culture of Burma. Our zero-proof bar showcases Burmese artistry through hand-painted floral panels, a custom-made painting adorns the wall of our private dining space, and a section of the restaurant wears the look of a colonial patio in Burma. You’ll find Burmese-inspired design elements all around - whether its the light fixtures, upholstery, or the colours we’ve used. And as is our signature, we’ve placed handcrafted artefacts across shelves that we have brought back from Burma.

Come by and immerse yourself in a signature Burmese experience.
