One of the worst rooms I had been to. The worst toilet, completely unhygienic, couldn't even bathe or use the toilet , cockroach, smelly 🤮🤮🤮. No water, the bed is super unhygienic, with blood or similar colour strains. Ac gives hot air 😂😂😂.

Quite large rooms. The bathrooms don't have any exhaust or window. Great location & tasty food

The place used to be good before when it was not a Shack. I dont know if it's difficult to maintain bacause it's a Shack now and it's just by the beach . it's also monsoon time..so heavy rains. The boss is excelente. staff is ok. But I think that the kitchen used to be much better. They didn't have tandori and some of the food took a lot of time to come to the table. Plus the people I was with ordered the starters até the same time as the food and it all came a bit mixed up. They forgot somethings. I had to tell the boss and he run inside to tell the kitchen staff...and they were making. Maybe they had to buy somethings....I dont know. But low season things are never that good. Specially at beach shacks.

Worst experience ever
We had booked two cottages for the weekend. Cottages are average. AC wasn’t cooling whatsoever. Staff kept saying wait for half an hour for the room to cool and made us wait for 2 hours outside the cottage. Staff are not friendly at all. Very arrogant. After complaining that the AC hasn’t chilled a bit the guy has the audacity to say that it’s chilling and he can’t do anything about it as there are Patra sheets on the roof. Told us that he will give us another cottage but that was equally bad.
Not at all worth the price

Excellent place to enjoy with the family. The beach is quite and beautiful. It's the most clean beach so guys who likes littering stay away.
The hotel stay was fantastic as all the rooms are big and have sufficient storage unit. The bed is king size and 2 adults and 1 child can sleep on it.  The view from the restaurant is awesome hence it's a must visit.

Very bad experience. Even after advance payment through make my trip, the owner denied booking on the day of arrival. Not recommended at all. Scamming the tourists.

I didn't stay here but had a great meal overlooking the beach. Such a perfect spot.Good fish and perfect pakora. Lots of locals eating here and relaxed atmosphere.

Furtado's Beach House is a Goan gem! We have been traveling to India for 15 years and have stayed at Furtado's every time we are in Goa. The rooms are simple but clean, well maintained, very comfortable, and sit steps away from the beach. The location cannot be beat! Each room is located within 30 yards or less of the sand. We have never had a bad meal at Furtado's restaurant, which is a local favorite that serves fresh seafood from that day's catch. The owners and staff are friendly and incredibly helpful. It is a family friendly place and great for kids. If you are looking for a perfect beach hotel that is loved by locals and tourists, I cannot recommend Furtado's enough.

Great beach shack. Stays open even in the monsoon. They have great prawn curry rice and chonok in reshad masala.

Beach proximity. You can play in water and sand and walk to your room to change or bath

Cons:
AC remote not provided, it's default set to very cool temp. Good in the day but gets very cold at night. You can only switch off.
Uncleaned and Dusty windows and room corners.
Staff not so supportive.

Their restaurant is right on the beach. You can relax and sit drinking eating with amazing sea view. The food is delicious and prices are nominal. We had only veg food. Paneer items were too good. Cocktails and mocktails are fine for the cost they charge. The staff is not much bothered about you, you have to call them twice at least to order. You will be served only if you insist.
The owner is usually around in restaurant. Good person and mostly accomodates your any requests and makes attempt to give good service. I will definitely like to visit again.  Will be good if they improve on some above points

Very arrogant room / hotel service staff, specially person called Birbel.

Please stay only if you are looking for beach side stay, else there is hardly anything called customer service by hotel staff, guess they must learn basics of serving to customer and then run it further.

They took whole night to give us new lock key, which had to be broken as they were unable to find original keys of our rooms.

It is a cozy place and excellent location. Do not expect a 5 star service. However, the owner is so pleasant that he will take care to cater to all ur needs. If you looking for a quiet, scenic and stress free holiday, this is the right place

Denied us stay on the day of our checkin. Looked like a miscommunication between Makemytrip and Furtado. But denying on the day seemed like a way to make more money during holiday season, when I had this place booked more than 30 days back. Never trust your booking with them.

Be alert. Don't go by the ratings, the only positive is the location.
Even though paying in advance, they will deny having any bookings and will blame the booking portal having a technical issues. We tried contacting many a times beforehand (though it was a prepaid and confirmed booking) as they seemed pretty suspicious from the review sections. But there was no response from the concerned person as they already have their excuses ready to allocate the rooms at some higher rates to someone else later. We met 3-4 other guests too facing the same issue from DIFFERENT PORTALS. May be this is the way they are making up for a duller tourist season (than usual) this new year's eve.
Very unethical and also giving Goa tourism a bad name. Travellers have already started preferring SE Asia for this kinda unprofessional and borderline fraudulent acts by business owners.
Hope sanity prevails over greed.
Not recommended. Ruined our vacation completely.

The sea view from the restaurant is great. You can go for a swim, relax on the beach and have a decent meal by the beach. Also since they have a lot of foreigners visiting their restaurant their food is mostly sweet. If you are an Indian going there with your family and want some spicy food you need to mention the same to the staff. Overall decent food and drinks.

Come in season else you won't get any services here bike rental n all. Service in resort is poor, view is nice, calm beach. If you want calm beach and provacy then its good.

We had food. Food is delicious!
Simple decor. Not classy at all. Food place is a big shack, right on the beach. One can watch the sea & savour the feel of wind sound of sea.
Washroom requires marked improvements.
