Love the app and the constant offers on it. The subscription is very affordable and providing an option to get weekly subscription is cherry on the top since I don't each outside often. I mostly use the app to buy Gift Cards as they are almost always available cheaper on the app compared to other apps. The UI & UX is great as well. Though they do not have an official customer care no. or chat option available, if you register a complaint against any store/merchant, they callback within 30 mins and try to solve the issue. My only complain is that some form of payment such as Credit Card & Amazon Pay are not available for some accounts while they are available for others and they don't restock once out of stock products such as Flipkart Supercoin or Phonepe gift card quickly. There notification when the stock is available again is broken as well.

I regularly order food through this app, and it often comes with significant discounts. Each transaction earns you coins, which you can use for a Pro membership that offers free delivery. If your food is delivered as expected, it's the best app; however, if the delivery person refuses to deliver, you're left with no immediate recourse. Unfortunately, the customer support is not very good. There are instances when the delivery person denies delivery, and there's no way to contact customer support, resulting in an order cancellation. The refund process can also be problematic. These issues are why I'm giving this app 3 stars.

When problems happen with orders or payments, the app gives no real help or response. A partner platform should provide proper support, but this app completely fails in that area. Very bad experience with Magicpin. Almost every time I place an order, it either gets cancelled or not delivered to me. The worst part is that my money does not get refunded properly or it takes too long to process.
This has happened multiple times, and it is extremely frustrating. As a customer, I expect reliable delivery and proper refund support, but Magicpin fails in both areas.

I’m writing this message out of extreme frustration and disappointment. I own a shop in Mukherjee Nagar, and before I made the payment, your executive made several promises regarding lead generation and proper support. However, after the payment was done, they completely stopped responding — no calls, no proper replies, nothing.

This is absolutely unprofessional and feels like a complete fraud. Your company’s behaviour clearly shows that you only make fake promises to get clients and then vanish when it’s time to deliver.

I demand an immediate response and resolution. Otherwise, I will be forced to take this matter further and share my experience publicly so others don’t fall into the same trap.

Scam Alert — Magicpin Deducted Extra Refund Amount!

Review:
I made a payment of ₹202.56 on Magicpin, but after my order was canceled, they refunded only ₹181.56 — deducting ₹21 as a so-called “UPI cashback adjustment.” The problem? The cashback I actually received was just ₹10! That means they cut ₹11 extra for no reason.

When I reached out to support, there was no proper resolution — just vague replies. This feels like a deliberate scam tactic where small amounts are silently deducted, assuming users won’t notice.

Magicpin needs to be transparent with refunds and fix this shady practice immediately. Everyone should double-check their transactions — don’t let them quietly take your money. 👎

Once you become a merchant on their portal they will sell you multiple ad plans. Once you pay for any of the plans, they will stop accepting calls/messages/emails. The merchant will not be benefitted from any of their plans and they will be stuck since they have made the payment.

Our experience with Magicpin has been extremely disappointing and feels like a fraud. During onboarding, their executive promised:

Charges of only ₹1740, but later another ₹1740 was deducted without consent (₹3500 total).

Products to be listed in Magic 9 deal for ₹9/₹29 with full value recovery, but instead they force 40% discount (up to ₹80) on items without informing us.

Products visible across ONDC platforms, but nothing was listed.

When we raised complaints, there was no proper response. They even closed tickets without resolving issues.

This is a clear case of false promises, misrepresentation, and unfair trade practice. I strongly advise other small businesses to be very careful before trusting their onboarding schemes.

1. Order Cancellations Due to Rider Unavailability: This is not only disappointing for the customers but also affects our business
2. Delayed Food Pickups and Long Delivery Times: In cases where orders are picked up, the delays have been significant. Riders either arrive very late to collect the food or the delivery location is unreasonably far, causing further delay and customer dissatisfaction.
3. No Compensation for Cancelled Orders: We noticed that even when the orders were cancelled from your end—after we had already prepared the food—we did not receive full payment or compensation for the losses incurred. This is  unfair to our business.
We have not found your customer support to be effective or responsive in resolving these issues. I Tried to Contact Through Helpline many Times But get connect only 2-3 Times and They Didnt have Satisfing Solutions .This adds  frustration as we are left without proper assistance or clarity.

I strongly advise against using Magicpin as a restaurant partner. They apply discounts without nforming you and deduct large amounts from your earnings. There is no transparency in how they calculate payouts-you simply receive whatever amount they decide, with no detailed breakdown. For instance, I received only ₹35 for a 2 omelette Sandwich priced at 135 each, despite no discounts being applied from my end. This is unfair and damaging to small businesses. Their service is poor.

The worst app ever used. I placed an order which showed the ETA of 35 min.  Order if .MDL/Jun-25/825898 I didn't receive my order for almost 1.5 hours.  Rider was not picking call. Magic customer service didn't even answer my query.  Just kept repeating Weare checking the status that's it.  Then I asked them to cancel my order and refund the money.  They didn't do that.
I told them i have already ordered from swiggy now I don't need I..  Then 1.5 hours later I started receiving repeated calls from rider. I told him to cxx the order as I'm trying to cxx the order with customer sercice but they are not doing that.. he said you give me the OTP, I'll cxx the order for you.  I gave him the otp .. Then magicpin said we have delivered  your order which is not true. I told them I didn't receive it ask your rider,  they are not replying . I asked them to call me and speak to me over phone . No one is calling and they are not refunding the money.  It's not about money but the kind of experience i have got is the worst till date from any app.
I would say the magic pin people are robbers. They just steal the money from customers and never deliver the food on time. And this time it was even worse they didn't deliver the food  at all and took the money..

Extremely disappointing experience with Magicpin.

I recently purchased a ₹7500 Giva voucher through the Magicpin app. Out of this, only ₹879 was successfully redeemed. When I tried to place my next order using the remaining amount, the order failed, and even the extra amount I paid through Paytm got deducted.

Despite repeated follow-ups with Magicpin, Giva, and Woohoo (voucher partner), there has been no resolution. Giva and Woohoo have clearly confirmed that there is no issue on their end — it's entirely Magicpin’s fault. Yet, Magicpin is avoiding responsibility and simply passing the blame around.

Even worse, their customer support is extremely unresponsive. No proper replies via email, and no solution provided through their social media channels either.

This has caused not just financial loss but also a lot of stress and wasted time. I expected better service and accountability. Be very cautious before trusting Magicpin with your money — especially for high-value vouchers.

What rubbish and nonsense things your company is doing and why you open such company and create an app that through which you can't provide guarantee for refund amount for incomplete.
I also made an email complaint regarding this matter but instead of refunding the amount they are just apologise the user and provide coupon in return which is not good sign for a food delivery app and company to do so.
The very must priority for the food delivery company is the customer and if you can't take care of your customer how then he/she buy food order from your site and app
Kindly go through this matter and make sure customer is always the first priority for you.

Our delivery experience on magicpin  app went horrible.

We are a vegetarian household and as such had ordered Veg Biryani for us. Red flags started to pop up right after the order. A slight delay extended nearly to two hours. After many complaints, finally when we received the order, to our utter shock and horror we found two Chicken Biryanis. One of family members vomited others were flabbergasted. It was clear that this was done in abject carelessness, coz the package had a bill inside mentioning that the biryanis were chicken. But alas, the callousness!

What was more horrific that this was on the auspicious day of Kartik Poornima.

The complaints fell on deaf ears, option to call doesn't exist. In short had to go through sheer mental torture. Had to complain to Consumer Helpline to even get a refund.

Utterly pathetic. Urge others to stay clear of this mess. They deserve to be sued.

These fraudsters have now crossed all limits. Without any intimation or notice to merchants have unilaterally increased their percentage share in a sale AND STARTED DEDUCTING 75% OF THE SALE AMOUNT FROM LAST MORE THAN A MONTH.
IN A SALE OF 180 RUPEES THEY GIVE ONLY 44₹ TO MERCHANT. THIS IS CHEATING AGAINST THE EARLIER AGREED PERCENTAGE OF 51% TO MAGICPIN AND 49% TO MERCHANT.

The company used to work good but recently they have started duping users. They give incorrect cashback and associate the uploaded bill with wrong merchant.

When I reached out to their customer support, and reported these issues but they kept asking me for bill copies even when they have been uploaded.

And to add to that, when a merchant is not found in the list and bill is uploaded via a feature present, they still give incorrect cashback, and when I raised a concern to Customer Support team, they kept asking for copy of bill again and again even after it was shared in the first instance. And for the feature, they kept denying that no such feature exist even when I provided a screenshot for the same. This shows that there chat executives, do not even read the chat history.

They kept my ticket opened for a month. I logged the ticket on Sep 13 2022 and today on Oct 13 2022 they closed the ticket by saying that my account is being suspended and provided an altogether invalid reason against it, i.e., that I provided incorrect and invalid bills, however, they did not share any valid proof for the same. And now when I am requesting them for the proofs they are simply closing my ticket by provided same bookish response.

The support dept. is the worst department of Magicpin. Recently I uploaded bills between 12 Aug & 18th Aug. However, all my transactions appeared as in progress. When I reached out to support team, initially they sd to reinstall the app & share reqd snapshot which I did bt no progress. Then they blamed me of uploading home delivery bill. When I sd I didn't they sd the system has rejected cashback 'cos there was some issue with the system. Instead of giving cashback they're giving lame excuses. I continued to check and they keep saying backend team is looking into it and giving false ETAs. And today on 8th Sep which is almost a month they are saying they will not give actual cashback which amounts to total of Rs 1033 and capping it at Rs 300.

Not only this they even merged 5 of my tickets and closed them all and gave the response that they are merging then with primary ticket even when they are not related. And on one ticket which is only open ticket now, they are saying they will not give actual cashback against all the pending IN PROGRESS tickets which amounts to total of Rs 1500-2000. This is their way of duping user with right cashback by calling one ticket as primary so they don't have to give out the right and actual cashback.

And when i responded with why are they closing tickets without resolution and that those tickets do not relate to whatever ticket u r calling primary ticket, they responded with the same bookish and fixed response on the closed ticket.

I would like to aware other customers not to book your pre-reservations from magic pin. I had booked a table through them with 40% discount on bill by some table booking fee to magicpin as well. But at the time of payment in restaurant it was not working & when I contacted magicpin they said they removed the restaurant from their app without informing customers,who booked their reservation from magicpin.

All you can do is write emails to them to which you will only get autogenerated replies. Please do not install the app, if you have to order food deliveries, just go with Zomato or Swiggy much better and professional then this pathetic company. How are they even running after scamming so many people!

This is such a pathetic app, can't be described in words.
I ordered on 08:02 PM. Delivery time was shown as approx. 30 min. After 25 minutes, i came to know that delivery person has been reassigned to another one. After 40 minutes i called him and he said my bike is punctured so I cannot come. Then I raised a complaint and they took huge time to connect to the rider. Then afterwards I came to know that 3rd rider has been assigned who will deliver. During this course, 55 minutes were already passed and since 40 minutes food was packed and lying at the counter of the hotel. Then I was told that food will be delivered within 75 minutes and promised to refund the amount since they agreed that it was their fault. However neither I got the refund not any call thereafter. This is how they ruined my night.

They don't have the proper system and they make us suffer. It has happened with me in 2 out of my 3 orders

My sincere advise to all the readers that please pay little extra delivery charge in Zomato or swiggy and enjoy your meal with respect and dignity.🙏🙏🙏

This company is making the customers foolish. I have already complaint so many times but every time I received a recorded message and I cannot find someone to solve my problems till now. The company wants only the traffic should come to their app. Nobody in their team takes the initiative to solve a customer's problem. This company promotes only and only wrong merchants and they together make fool of customers. The merchants they promote are not at all well behaved. Whenever any customer visits the outlet , the merchants threat and mis behave with the customers and the merchants do not give the items at their original price of outlet.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
I ordered my food and was waiting for more than 1 hour 30 mins. I tried to contact their customer support but they don't have a proper support team which we can contact (they send you email for everything instead of a call center.......Dude mails are used in corporate offices not for food delivery apps). After 1 hr 30 mins they cancelled my order! If your app is not working kindly just tell the customers that it has a fault instead of making your customers wait for hours. At least the other food delivery apps provide you with support instead of mails. In addition the numbers provided on Magic pin to contact delivery partners are SWITCHED OFF!!!
If I hadn't contacted the Main outlet of food probably I would still be waiting for them to deliver my orders in which they would constantly change the ETA.

Later I ordered from some other food delivery app and received the delivery within 20 mins.

Ordered Starters on ONDC in Delhi. Very late delivery. Delivery partner was Magic pin. Delivered after 90 min of placing order. Incomplete delivery. Two boxes ordered. Only one box delivered. Delivery boy said this is complete order. Very disappointed with pathetic support when the matter was reported. They have now stopped taking calls. One star only because there is no provision of zero star

First of all please accept my apology for using rude words(although every word is well deserved). But I am not someone who complaints ( check my many years of Zomato and swiggy history)

I have ordered three times from you. Twice I had to complain.

This time you crossed the line.

After one hour and ten mins of waiting the restaurant calls and ask me to cancell the order. Stating that the ordered item is not available?

Are customers joke to you?

1. Don't accept order if it cannot be fulfilled.
2. By mistake if ur unable to fulfill...THEN INFORM IN DUE TIME
3. And start giving importance to customer for God sake
4. Refund the full amount in my account. And not in you stupid wallet. I paid every paise from my acount and not from your wallet. I don't want to use your service.
5. And not in 5-7 days. I demand immediate.
6. If it's the last money I have then I have to sleep hungry??? Just because u have a stupid response team??.

Totally fraud. The redeem options they show, actually doesn't exists. I have personally tried visiting few outlets and found that they don't even exists.

They show that "70 vouchers sold, last redeemed 2 days back". I wonder how someone can redeem voucher and give rating for an outlet which doesn't even exists.

Another thing is it shows 75% off for an outlet voucher when I am at my home. But as soon as I reach the outlet it starts showing only 10% off.

They have tried their best and best of technology to make the users fool.

Don't waste your time to collect the magic pin points.

A scamster had put his number for a known shop and was able to get us pay the amount as a booking charge. This site doesn't verify anything in terms of the vendor it registers. Cost us a good amount of money. No accountability on the part of the magic pin team. They enable such hustlers and cons without any responsibility.

Really bad experience with this app.mostly restaurants are doing froud with customers and delivering contaminated food. I received food with fried insects in it and didn't get any satisfactory response from customer care service after complaint. Magicpin's driver is drunk and misbehaved I waited for 2 hours for my food and the rider first lied to us that he's on his way and then denied for the delivery and misbehaved with me The rider name is pradeep prajapati. Worst service ever. I have bought magicpin pro am i still regret being the part of it i just wasted my money for it. No priority helpdesk, after 3500 coin usage they aren't allowing to get more discounts (they have specified 15000coin limit). Now i am complaining since 7-8 days still my issue isn't solved yet and my plan is about to expire in 2 days. I wasted my money if anyone else is seeing this review then you also stay cautious

Worst experience. I purchased nykaa voucher worth 950 INR on magic pin using amazon payment mode(8 Jan 2021). No voucher generated, money debited, no transaction in transaction section of magic pin. After so many complaints on magic pin I only got autogenerated mails. No customer care rep called me no refund. No status. Don't ever use this app. I have written almost 6 mails to the id provided by you and have got only got autogenerated mails. No resolution. Ticket id:1329063 Please look into it.

Magicpin is look like a FRAUD company. We had order but still 2e had not received. Even it is showing delivered the order. When we informed to customer care and told them that  in our society, there are security guard in our society. In and out visiting entry and also cameras in society. No-one delivered order. But they are saying we have delivered order. So it is totally fraud delivery company. Don't use this magicpin.
We had ordered from other delivery company then received on time.

I’m grossly disappointed with their service. The product was delivered damaged and when I raised concern with customer CARE, they absolutely didn’t care. They said we can’t help you and further without any resolution and closed the ticket. The least they could do was send an apology, they didn’t even do that.

One of the worst experience and pathetic app. I bought a voucher of 600 to pay my phone bill. Amount of 573 rs was deducted from my wallet and I payed 67 rs from my bank account, but the amount payed to my cell phone operator is just 500. Cheats. Paid money to purchase vouchers. Din't get any vouchers and the money went into the wallet. I complained and they said to try again. As the vouchers price had increased, I paid the difference to purchase these vouchers. Again no vouchers and money got deducted. The money went to the wallet. I was told that there is some issue with the vouchers so I should try later. I asked for the refund and they were not ready to give my money back. After multiple follow-ups, I got nothing. After few months my money from the wallet disappeared. These people are big time cheats. Stay away.

@Restaurant owners - Please dont pay and subscribe to it. They don't have any user base. Not even 10% target archived what they committed. I will post similar review on other platform as well to make aware people.

Magic pin relationship manager called me my outlet is the cake house and my cousin outlet is green chatni in Mumbai he seets in Gurgaon office there are two person Sushant and Arun they both are fraud first day ask us to join magic pin after that they give us the plan the plan name was booster plan and they charged Aaj 20000 rupees and they told that you will be getting a good order volume at your Store but all commitments was fraud once the store was online they was not receiving our calls no service after calling them 50 times in a day they were not answering the call I ask many time share me the reporting manager number but they were not giving they were telling  Sushant told me that Arun is my reporting manager fraud things are going in magic pin so I request the management to take a strict  action against these guys....
